How expensive? Might be worth consider skype or something for alternative. Would cost me like over euro per minute to call to Japan normally, 8 cents per minute by skype. Guess which one I'm using?

That tanks shooting is fairly nasty. 60" str 7 TL at BS5 and heavy 3 rend? It'll hit nearly 100% of the time!

Looks like at least some will be held one handed so other arm presumably comes from original kit.

One of them is also terminator sized and fits onto resin terminator arms. It should also fit onto the cataphractii/tartaros power sword arms with some minor cutting.

Oh feth yeah we're getting Legion specific weapons now! I can finally create my own Asterion (as much as I love the model already). I'd just need to cut away most of the wing on the spear and find a spare Combi-Melta bit.

My guess is that we will see the Knight on 12.09. So it would be shipped on 16th and arrive via UPS express (because it's obviously going to cost more than 250) just in time to be packed as an x-mas present

I wouldn't mind seeing it next friday though

While I like the Grav tank, it doesn't quite scream "40k" to me. Yes, I know this is meant for 30k, but I assume 40k rules will show up sooner or later. I can hardly find a 40k opponent, let alone one willing to play 30k.

I wonder how it would look to kit bash one. An old-school rhino hull for the center with Valkyrie engines on the sides, Valkyrie landing gear, Storm Raven turret on top armed with autocannons from the Hydra kit.

The only legal kitbash has to be built using a deodorant can as a frame.

That is one sexy hunk of resin. I agree completely with you on those handrails, though. I foresee a lot of issues there.

FW seems to want to do more with Knights, but even releasing alternate heads didn't work out the way they originally wanted. We have three alternate Atrapos heads sold on their own or with an Atrapos, but the original idea was to release a mechanicum lancer, castigator, Acheron with those heads along with the Atrapos' armor panels in place of the standard panels. There is a dissonance between the creatives and business people. However I think this indicates a business side interest in approach like selling individual weapons over off-variant Knights.

I would love to see customizable Knights, it'd create some fun opportunities. A Cerastus Knight paladin would be interesting to see.

Some of the alternate heads have been a little underwhelming at best, though. I did like the alternative armour/carapace panels, though - and I'd like to see more of that sort of thing.

So, awhile back i posted this on the Burning of Prospero rumors thread:

Also, according to him HH book 7 should be released some time before Christmas, but they plan to release Magnus (like with Russ) before then.

Which of course had several people replying with "Its not coming out till febuary" "wait till febuary" "games workshop said it wont come out till febuary" and so on.

But

Heres what it says on page 28 of the december white dwarf:

This month sees the release of the latest highly anticipated volume of Forge Worlds Horus Heresy series. The Horus Heresy: Book VII - Inferno brings war to Prospero. No Matter where your loyalties lie, there's something in this weighty tome for you.

It will contain Thousand Sons, Space Wolves and Talons of the Emperor, and will be out this month.

So, that leaves nothing else to say except

I think they've already clarified this on Facebook as being correct at time of print, but this has been changed, so the book is still some time out.
