So I have recently run a ground on my current dark Angels project and felt it necessary to start a new army, why you ask? Well it's cause of the crack that games workshop has me hooked on... So I love the look and the fluff of the grey Knights and I'm wondering where the strength and weakness lies with them I got a good deal on a nemesis vanguard set so that will be the base of my army that I will start with I'm interested to hear load outs and such for the units aswell and just any general info anyone has on them as they are not a more common chapter where I am as always thanks for any help you provide guys !!!!

Draigo, two ML3 Libbys, 2-3 Termie squads, 2-3 Dreadknights with personal teleporters, maybe sprinkle in a Strom Raven and a squad of Purifiers for lulz. Run Nemesis Strike Force formation. Deep Strike in enemy's face. Win?

This. Completely agree.
Essential for a Grey Knight army:
- Draigo
-ML3 librarian
-Terminator squads
- At least 2 DreadKnights
Build the rest of the army around the above depending on how you want to play them. I run something similar to what the_Armyman says and find my Stormraven really useful for long range firepower support (something lacking in the Grey Knight codex). I'm thinking that a squad of Purifiers equipped with Falchions charging out of the Storm Raven could be fun to play and work well with the draigo/librarian/terminator/dreadknight backbone.

brother-captains and paladins are useful too.
The paladins make a good pure deathstar with draigo and the librarian. You can also throw in the brocap and have I think like 4 psycannons then. So you drop in and light something up. Light em up again the next turn and destroy in CC.

Ok, so we're running NSF, we want to be all up in the enemy's face, but....whats the "plan" once we get there? A couple terminator squads don't pump out that much firepower, and don't necessarily hit all that hard in CC either.
What are some of the tactics and things you want to be doing on the table? What squad does Draigo go in, and what powers are the Libby's fishing for? Also, what should you be doing if the enemy happens to be a Grav heavy battle company, of example?

Everything that can wield a psycannon and is relentless should do so. If there's a grav unit then that is your primary focus. Be sure to run after deep striking to get into ruins if possible for that 4+ cover save (NSF allows you to run and shoot on arrival).
I personally don't play Draigo so I don't really know how to use him in a pure grey knight army. I only see him used in Death Stars from other codexes.
Each Terminator squad should pack 2 hammers in order to make them a threat to anything they manage to engage in cc.
Some armies have fast units that our terminators can't catch. Interceptors and Dreadknights are our only counter to this. The terminators will arrive and attack anything too slow to escape, then hold the objectives afterwards.

You live or die by Invisibility, basically.
Bring Librarians, bring a Librarius Conclave, a Grey Knights list can't survive against a modern shooting army without Invisibility. You will have the warp charges to dominate the psychic phase 99% of the time and will still get off Invis even in that 1% ridiculous demon list.
IMO your best strategy is:
1. When placing objectives place all of yours next to one placed by your opponent, there'll be 4 objectives in a diamond pattern by his deployment zone typically as a result.
2. Take your big group of Terminators, Draigo, Librarians, Conclave, etc. and Invis -> Gate to the objective cluster.
3. Shoot and multi-charge anything and everything. Psychic powers will help your anemic shooting a lot. You can only take one objective a turn but that'll be fine.
4. Dreadknights can survive well enough on their own, cast Sanctuary for that 4++ and try to limit their exposure to shooting before they can get into combat.
So basically your entire list is in their deployment zone and murdering everything in the assault phase. Having AP 2-3 Force Weapons and Invisibility will beat non-hordes and you can fish for psychic powers to take on something like Green Tide. There's a Nova power in Sanctic, Pyromancy and Telekinesis, if you turn your Invisibility fisherman loose trawling for them you'll have a decent chance of getting all three. A lot of the typically weaker psychic powers are particularly effective against massive hordes, too.
The army I play right now is a typical NSF, an Inquisitor & Coteaz and a Librarius Conclave painted up as Deathwatch. I fish for Invisibility and Endurance, if I think it's needed I'll try for Invisibility twice and combat squad my 10 Terminators, have one Deep Strike. Servo skulls help make Gate safer. If I don't get first turn, I tuck myself into a corner with some terrain and no objectives and Coteaz up front and let the inevitable drop podding insanity take their chances with going off the edge or landing close enough for I've Been Expecting You.
Basically when playing this you're always aware that you'd be better off gating a unit of Grav Cents arounds instead of your poor Termies, but it's actually pretty decent and feels more appropriate IMO.

GK Librarians are only in terminator armor. If you buy a couple terminator kits, you can just use one of those guys as a Librarian. As long as he looks a little more distinguished no one will give you grief and it'll save you having to buy the separate model if you don't want to.

I always take mine with the great sword, the heavy incinerator, and the jump (teleporter) pack. If you've got the points you can add on the heavy psycannon. I've not tried it myself, but some people mix in a gatling psliencer if they take more than one DK. It's not super reliable, but it can actually insta-kill some things if you get force off and manage to make them fail an armor save. YMMV

The Heavy Psycannon is the one you want everytime, with the Heavy Incinerator or Heavy Psilencer as it's second weapon. And whike the Great Sword is the one everyone seems to favor, the Hammer has excellent ultility versus WKs due to Concussion.

Fair point. I should have mentioned that my meta is mostly guardsmen and little tyrannid jibblies. I also just like flame templates.
The heavy psycannon is a very powerful and versatile weapon.

Hammer is fine, especially when you concuss someone. And always, always, always, always take the teleporter and psycannon. You need the mobility, and you need the anti tank. Everything else is optional.

If you're running GKs alongside another list (which they do very well) imho run the NSF with
Gk - NSF 735pts
HQ: Lib (110)
Elites: Purifiers w/ 2 incinerators (135) [if you can put them in a drop-pod from your other list]
Troops: Strike Squad (110)
Heavy: 2x NDK PT, Sword, Hvy Incinerator (190 ea =380)

Luckily the hands for the hammer and sword can both be built and are easily swapped. Just don't glue the hands and you can switch back and forth. No magnets needed.

So the general consensus is to roll for Invisibility instead of Sanctic stuff? I'm doing a 1500 point game tomorrow and I'm running 2 ML3 Libs and I was wondering whether to double down on Sanctic to try to get Cleansing Flame for both Term squads or if Telepathy is more worthwhile.

It depends on what you're facing, but most of the time your opponent is going is going to shoot you to pieces without invisibility so you don't have much choice.
Make the call yourself at the table and roll for what you think you'll need.

Thanks. Maybe one squad will go for Invisibility and if I get it, the other squad can go Sanctic. I've always just run Sanctic before so I just thought I'd look for advice for alternatives.

Strike/Interceptors/Purifiers should only ever take the incinerator as the other ranged weapons are heavy. Terminators/Paladins should take as many psycannons as their unit will allow. As for melee weapons it really depends but you definitely want 1-2 hammers per unit to smash MCs and crack open vehicles. Basically falchions are great for volume of attacks (great hammerhand synergy) but jump the cost up a bit. Halberds are good for units you don't plan on casting hammerhand on while being reasonable in terms of cost while the sword is the cheap option for stuff that typically won't likely survive getting into CC. Don't waste too many points on melee weapons for 3+ armor units but its reasonable to use the points to boost your terminators/paladins.
*Edited* GK's can't take Biomancy bleh.
