Thanks for the news. This release is right up my alley. Probably going to pick up an M3 halftrack and the M8 Scott.

Yeah, there are a couple of odd features in the box art, but the kits are very good.

Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

That's traditional though... model box art is always a little fast and loose...

Like the Matchbox DAK Panther box art...

Pretty sure the Panther was depicted in Italy. They had a DAK Wespe though.

Perhaps we should stay on topic...

I was pretty sure that it was Airfix that depicted their 1:76 Panther in DAK markings.

Not on the original box art. But I see that a later version of the packaging had what definitely looks like DAK Panthers. Must have been the overall dark yellow that fooled the artist...

Rubicon have done pretty well. There are only a few glitches. There were no Crusader II's in service by the time the Tiger appeared, so the burning Tiger on the Crusader box is an anachronism. Their 3-in1 SdKfz 251 shows a dark grey Ausf D, which is wrong, but they seem to have revised the packaging to depict a proper 3-colour scheme (the wonders of digital design). The weirdest one is the driver in the Opel Blitz seems to be sitting much higher than his (identical) passenger. I really like the lush backgrounds in each scene.

He's driving a lot, so he's sitting on his official Wehrmacht Stoßkissen

It looks more like he's standing up slightly to get a better look at something in the distance to me.
