Well I was fine until I got a good deal on flesh eater courts and an entire war machine army. But I keep a list on my cork board. The more I see crossed off, the more I feel empowered.

I was working my way through the last of my models last week when I made the mistake of visiting Amazon. "Ooh! Allarielle for only $108!"

Like a mad-man, I decided to start Skaven as i'd said elsewhere, and as I am incapable of doing anything half way, I immediately traded for the Skaven half of three Dawn-Spire/Isle of Blood sets, as well as buying a mountain of Storm Vermin, Storm Fiends, Artillery, Doomwheels, etc...

So I am trying REALLY hard not to think about the volume of stuff I now need to turn out. I will say, I am debating regressing from washes, etc... to my old "dip" method which I used way back when I had to paint up 100+ Termgants, etc... for 40k. I'm think my dirty dirty Clan Rats MIGHT be appropriate for the old, rough, but decent quick paint-job, and dunk in Min-Wax trick. :-p

I did start in earnest though. This week I started and am about 90% done with two Warlocks, two Engineers, and all of the Weapon Teams (six Warpfire, six Poison Wind Mortarts).

Dipping is fine. Im trying to learn to become a really good painter. But I dipped most of my ghouls because painting 15 isnt fun. I want able to finish them in hours.
Just make sure you use some technicals. Maybe over the blades put some typhus corrosion and drybrush some ryza rust.
Take some Ryza Rust, make a wash out of it, put on one some helms and shields. Same with the Oxides. and a Little blood for the blood god will go along way

Well, i'm going to paint them properly, so I suppose i'm more like half-dipping. I'll use that to handle most of my washing, etc... but i'll get decent basecoats on it first.

Also, i'm weirdly fond of the Nurgle Rot technical paint, so i'll probably find some use for it somewhere in there too. :-p

So I've more or less finished assembly of a Kharadron frigate and 50 arkanaut company. The next task to to finish making molds for the skyhook weapon option so I can make the copies I need to fully equip them. I have to say though there is an astonishing amount of detail in the frigate kit, stuff like a hinge where a portion of the guard rail opens up or a pressure valve next to the navigator is all over the place, in a good way. Though it bothers me a bit that the frigate seems about 20% too small for the crew to move around properly.

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

I like the color scheme Elmir. Nice contrast. It's the best part of the paint job. I wouldn't have expected it to be so colorful.

You've made good use of that 3 day weekend. The Vanguard chamber is great IMO, it's too bad the combined Dracoth-Gryph formation can't be used in normal games. Well done either way Matt!

Long time word-poster... first time pic-poster!

I've been acting as DM for a group of friends of mine as we embark upon a DnD campaign... I've found its given me a lot of scope to buy and paint a wide variety of models to include in our sessions. Haven't been forced into collecting a certain faction or alliance, its been very enjoyable I must say!
Have some more stuff I might post soon.

**Ok for some reason the attachments aren't uploading with this post... halp?**

Another of my pretties. I finished this guy probably 6 or so months ago... and then to my horror came on here and found I'd basically unknowingly copied Bottle's scheme almost color for color!

Count as Harbinger of Decay for my Rotbringers AoS army. The current model is kinda of horrendous. I view nurgle as bloated and swollen, not starving and emaciated. I understand that point of view.. its just not for me.

So I had the idea of a plague drone centaur type of thing. The first picture shows the posture. I later removed the long tongue, added a mouth from the Maggorth lords kit, with a small portion of the other tongue variant. I think I'm going to model a small sword or knife being wielded by the tongue. Next I went about crafting the torso. I starting working on it and realized I was headed towards a slim and trim/ripped harbinger. Definetley going to work on making him have a gut, bloated and gross. Maybe using one of the non armored blightkings torso and working it in with greenstuff.

Thanks man, I have to say its one of my favorite GW sculpts! Also his story arc that I created for him when I introduced him into our DnD campaign was actually really cool as well, so ive always had sentimental spot for him since.

I painted my 2000pt, 116 model Tzeentch army in time for Broadside Bash this past week

Added bonus was that I won first! First GT win, and first time I've had a full army painted and BASED. Felt looked, looked better! Need to go back and do more detail work now though. Some of the paint jobs were DEFINITELY rushed(Sorry brimstones!), and both my Lords of Change need a hit with an airbrush

First off Matt, awesome job as usual. Now I don't really care for Stormcast Eternals. One reason is I just can't paint mine in a good job. Don't care for all gold but nothing I tired worked. BUT...

This pic is so full of awesome. I never cared for them but after seeing this pic, when I get back into Age of Sigmar, I might have to start collecting them or at least just these units. What are these units called? Just love the poses and arrangement you have done that I want these now.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

They're the Vanguard Palladors, which suit the knight in plate armour the best IMO. Brown Gryphs are probably the best colour for them too, as the flashier colours (turquoise etc) are a bit of an eyesore. Going for a chivalry theme like jousters sounds quite awesome actually.
