You could probably get away with painting it an armor/leather color. It's definitely intended to be skin what with Wargame Exclusive being Wargame Exclusive and I agree it's pretty silly.

True, but when they don't go with unnecessary cheescake, WGE has some really nice sculpts.

I definitely agree; the properly clothed tech priest domina they did is one of my favorite models from anyone.

Funnily enough I didn't even think it would be skin, I assumed it was the usual pseudo-formfitting female armor in action - aka paint it black like the rest of their power armor.

But on a related note, I revisited the Wargame site recently and had a peruse. Those gun servitor chicks were really naked before they made alts of them

Wow, that model in particular is awesome!

Also you can see a deal for 10 troops or 5 command under the "Imperial Soldiers" tab on their site, or by typing "Dead Dogs" in the search bar at the top. Here's a link to the Imperial section:
https://wargameexclusive.com/product-category/imperial-soldiers/

The troop deal has them at only 4 EUR apiece, or 7 EUR for the command squad. Not bad! I'd actually be tempted to use that banner bearer for my Admech...

I'd say that when they DO go with unnecessary cheesecake... WGE still has some really nice sculpts. Quality of sculpt and content of sculpt being 2 different things

I didn't even notice it, which is pretty good for WE.
I'd just paint it the same (dark) colour as the rest of the armour, or dark gunmetal.

If I do get these I'll end up doing the same or or leave it black as if it's part of the under armor.

Versteckt in den Schatten deines Geistes.

Let's not criticise the 'cheesecake' of these too much.

They still don't got nuthin' on the company that makes a chick in terminator armour who somehow is still almost naked from her thighs to her chest.

Isn't that amazing, I didn't even notice it on the sculpt until you mentioned it.

Weird how these companies keep making such "unpopular models".....

May have to get some for the heck of it along with their not- Typhus.

There was mention made before that these guys actually communicate regularly with GW.

If that's true or not, I can't say, but in my perfect little world these 3rd party companies would continue to make things similar, yet different.

I'd actually prefer something like how Corvus Belli does with Infinity and make some deals with the more talented companies and make clear demarcation lines about what they can or can't do and have tacit OK to fill out the places that GW and Forge World never will.

I wonder how man Imperial citizens would look at that cab and think it belongs to the Lamenters?

They'd have to know who the Lamenters were to begin with. Nobody cares about throwaway sparkly brooding successor chapters!

NIce use of one of the WGE cars though. Wouldn't have thought to "lower" the cars to such a commoner's vehicle. A taxi, indeed.

I think I'm gonna have to get at least the squad of 10 for now. Even with the combat heel's and the slight cleavage the quality is too good not to miss out.

And by unpopular you meant unprofitable for GW. Maybe is Finecast had worked out or Sisters became a Forge World army you'd see official new stuff much faster. Though if GW wants to reintroduce space dwarves (not Squats) I'd say to do it through FW until they could make a game with plastic minis--the same way that they did with 30K Marines. Now if they'd just made the Sisters (instead of Marines) versus Necrons mini game. Such missed opportunities...

I'm pretty sure that's Austin Carbon's taxi. He works in one of the spires when the perfect being isn't falling into his cab.

Spoiler:

A yellow cab chuffs up to the battlefield deployment line. Moments after coming to a halt, a squad of ten Imperial Fists clamber out, with the marine toting the missile launcher pausing to pull out his wallet and pay the taxi driver before the car speeds off.

Across the battlefield, an armored red ferrari peels to a stop, its side presented to its mortal enemies. From the vehicle interior - including the trunk and wheel wells - pours a squad of thirty orks. The head ork draws his ey'fown and with a snaggletoothed grin pays the Uber driver the agreed amount of teef for the lift. "Okay boyz," the big warrior grunts, "It's time to start da rumble!"

But I have to wonder if the Tau made her bionic leg for her. Makes for an interesting back story (and gait) as she fights for the "Greater Good".
