Sorry if the title isn't in the proper grammar, but basically I want a Superheavy, but not something as big as a Baneblade.
Was origionally thinking about a Macharius Vanquisher, but it's basically a Pask Vanquisher for almost twice the points, but with one lower BS and an extra 3 HP. Then tought about the Macharius Vulcan.... but my Vultures already do that job. Due to the popularity of the Stormblade I have been leaning towards the Macharius Omega?
Anyone suggestions? Or should I just shut up and go for a Baneblade?

Anyway, isn't there a flame variant of the Malcador? That could be fun.

The IG's super-heavies have been left in the dust since Imperial Knights and Wraithknights became a thing. They're way too expensive and they're vulnerable to being one-shotted with D weapons. Take one for fun, but don't expect a lot from it. I have a Baneblde that I field very rarely, and it's usually 575 points I'd have rather spent on regular tanks and troops.

Baneblades are actually pretty damn good. The Hellhammer is probably the best - that S10 AP1 ignores cover blast is just terrifying.
The smaller superheavies - I'd agree on a macharius Vulcan. Yes, vultures have many shots, but theirs are S6 AP3, not S5 AP5 - this gives you a whole 'nother range of functions - being able to hurt AV12 targets, for example, and take huge chunks out of a T6 3+ save tyranid beastie that punisher bullets will rattle harmlessly off of.

Tbh concerning the Macharius Vulcan I would say I prefer my vultures, cheaper, less things can shoot them, AA potential and many AV 12 targets I can just vector dance to glance them to death.
The Malcador Infernus does look interesting, although I would prefer it's chemical ammunition, but is anything immune to poison in the game?
The Crassus also looks interesting and I never considered it, what would it's best load-out be?
Also any comments on the Macharius Omega yet?
FYI it doesn't need to be super competitive, it's going to be in 2000-2500 point games tops. I felt a bit mean taking a full baneblade.

505 points (with missiles, which are pretty much mandatory)
AV 11/11/10 with 9 HP
Strafing run
3x TL ACs (nose)
TL HB (defensive turret)
TL assault cannon (tail)
8x hellstrike missiles
3x heavy bombs ( STR 6 AP 4 apocalypse barrage 8)
It's also one of the most beautiful models GW has ever produced, and you should own one for that reason alone.

If you are looking for a one hit wonder machine Skip the superheavy and just take a vanquisher command tank with co axial stubber and beast hunter shells.
It's significantly cheaper and scares the crap out of monsterous creatures and severely hurts gargatuans. A single shot Bs4 with twin linked str 9 ap2 Insta death monster hunter. It will instantly kill any non-gargatuan creature and even the gargantuan will still likely take d3 wounds.

the flame version of the malcador is a cool fig and can do some damage with that gigantic flame template. Don't expect it to justify its cost unless you go against a green tide (or a serious amount of foot marines, ap3 massive flame template is nice)... but for the fun of it, its entertaining.

Well I already have a Pask Vanquisher, although I may replace it with a Pask Punisher... hmmmmm while the Co-axil provides a less reliable re-roll, dem beast shells.... and you save points. Only problem is it would mean I would need to start a Armoured Company list, which while tempting, I do like my infantry.... shall think about it.
I'm defiantly going to eventually make an Armoured Company, however for now I want a superheavy that is fun, useful in most situations, not overkill and will look like a decent centrepiece for my army.

To be honest I think the Chem Version could justify the cost. Get's rid of Highly Flammable and at 285 points, while not cheap, looks like it could wipe out a unit or two (2+ to wound, no armour saves). 18 inch plus hellstorm template isn't too bad either. Also if targeted it's soaking up hits that could go to other units.
Think I may have a possible super heavy

I love the Marauder (I use the Destroyer Variant).
It's not overpowered and yet has a massive threat presence on the board. Its mere existence will cause your opponent to gak bricks.
In addition, if your opponent lacks AA - it's practically invincible.

Check out this guys list which just won a major GT with mostly guard. It has an armored company list but is also very much foot soldier centric. It has over 120 infantry not counting the librarians or yarick.

Helped by the sheer size of the model, of course. If your opponent is one of those people who sees "OMG HUGE MODEL MUST KILL" the Marauder is great. It's actually bigger than titans, in terms of physical size, and since it's sitting on a tall flying base you just can't ignore it when you look at the table.
