So um the "monolith" mission is a mission. It has a simple deployment.

Dude needs to try to build a monolith. Add a d6 each turn you have guys within 3" and once you get to 20 you win because you did the thing. Add +1 if you have 2+ units near it.

Enemy Dude needs to try to stop the monolith. He gets within 3" and can roll a 6 for end game. Each unit he has within 3" adds +1 to the roll.

Psykers on the monolith's side within 12" generate charge on a 3+ and all units get +1 to deny. Beginning of each turn you can pick a unit on the monolith Warlord's side within 12" of him and that unit can shoot. It acts normally after this for the rest of the turn.

If the attacker's warlord is alive, you can pick a unit that charged and is no longer locked in combat- they can declare another charge.

Yay, Thousand Sons?

I have posted all of these in the P&M tutorials as well if anyone's interested. There's a thread link in my signature below.

See Shield of Baal - a very large proportion of the book (fluff, models, artwork, cool kick assness etc) was Sororitas - except of course any rules.......

good to see this varied stuff coming out - I hate painting but watched none the less

Talking about their lore is one thing, actually showing and painting a model seems like something else entirely.

Models in production speculations then? I wonder if GW will change what they look like should they actually be making the models

H.B.M.C.- The end hath come! From now on armies will only consist of Astorath, Land Speeder Storms and Soul Grinders!
War Kitten- Vanden, you just taunted the Dank Lord Ezra. Prepare for seven years of fighting reality...
koooaei- Emperor: I envy your nipplehorns. <Magnus goes red. Permanently>
Neronoxx- If our Dreadnought doesn't have sick scuplted abs, we riot.
Frazzled- I don't generally call anyone by a term other than "sir" "maam" "youn g lady" "young man" or " HEY bag!"
Ruin- It's official, we've ran out of things to talk about on Dakka. Close the site. We're done.
mrhappyface- "They're more what you'd call guidlines than actual rules" - Captain Roboute Barbosa
Steve steveson- To be clear, I'd sell you all out for a bottle of scotch and a mid priced hooker.

Pale skin? She looks pretty bronze to me, probably the worst pale skin tutorial I have ever seen, not because of the editing or steps but because it is not a recipe for palid flesh at all.

Yeah it's a great tutorial for Caucasian skin, but it's not really pale at all.

This is quite close to how I do normal skin tones haha (although I work from white undercoat so I can skip the first few steps)

Replace the Kislev flesh with Pallid Wytch Flesh and you would have a better tutorial for pale skin.

I have to say I am a massive fan of these tutorials though and have been ever since I got back into the hobby!

If you want truly pallid flesh, check out the How to paint a Wrack tutorial or any of their other tutorials on YouTube.

I really like that Wrack one.

The whole WarhammerTV thing seems like a good idea from GW, I just wish it was more visible! It seems like the only way I ever hear about it (ie with the Advent Calendar) is through Dakka. (which don't get me wrong- I love Dakka ). It seems like making these really visible would be good publicity for the company.

All of the videos are posted on GW's website in the 'What's New Today' section accessible by clicking on the White Dwarf up by the phone number.

Ah, got it, thanks for the info Ghaz.

So I can see whatever they currently have posted, but is there somewhere else that there might be a link for the video channel? (ala that convenient list you posted). I get promoting the "What's New," as things come up, but the'll only be there so long, and I can't imagine there's a video every time to provide you with a link to the channel.

I guess I'm just still used to the original GW website, that actually had subsections for painting and gaming. I thought they'd want to make it really easy to find anything!

Just go to the Warhammer TV channel on youtube. Search Warhammer TV on YT (it should be the first link) or --

No, I get that. I'm saying if I were a newbie, other than the random chance of finding a specific painting video by luck, how would I know about them? Again, the old website had it RIGHT THERE at the top of the page. "Painting and Modelling" wasn't just a link to buy paint and tools.

WHAT THE HELL?
GW actually remember Sisters exists?

"Our fantasy settings are grim and dark, but that is not a reflection of who we are or how we feel the real world should be. If its not on the product page (example) and you don't want to dig through the 'What's New' archive then your only option is to do as Talys pointed out and go through Games Workshop's YouTube channel.

And I'm saying those are your only options. If you want to see all of their videos, they're on their YouTube channel.

I know, I was aware the first time you said it. Seriously, am I taking crazy pills here??

The only thing I have been saying is that I wish they posted these with access in the "Painting and Modeling" heading on their website. You have made it abundantly clear exactly how you can get the link, and I thank you for that. But I am not critiquing your method or any anything else, I am only saying (as a completely separate topic) that GW should be advertising this more effectively.

Hoo-boy.

Yes.

I know you can see them all on their Youtube channel.

I know how to get to their Youtube channel.

HOWEVER, I think it would be a great idea if GW included a link to the Youtube channel under their "Painting and Modeling" tab (aka WHERE THEY USED TO KEEP THIS STUFF) so that people who aren't already aware of it and maybe haven't checked the "What's New" tab would know they have a full channel dedicated to painting. I think they could do a lot better than a few thousand hits on the videos that way.

That is all I was saying since the very beginning. Instead I got GW's defense brigade trying to explain to me how you get to the page.
