So I picked up En Garde, but I am having a hard time finding models outside of warlord and blue moon. Can any one point me to some models for Border Reivers, and in general swashbucklers?

Many of the pics in the book feature figs from Redoubt. The poses are great for fencing BUT they are (a) really tall, certainly not 28mm and maybe even bigger than 32mm, and (b) they are pretty crude other than the dynamism of the poses. I bought these in anticipation of Osprey's En Garde and, feeling pretty disappointed after getting some painted up, ordered the Blue Moon ones from Old Glory, which I like better. If you don't mind a larger miniatures and you want to do musketeers, Eureka makes a nice line. As for border reivers, you have a good amount to choose from since we are talking about, basically, the age of the pike. Check out Timeline Miniatures for, IIRC, the figs shown in the rulebook.

Way on back in the deep caves

I think Foundry has some suitable figures for that.

Somewhere in south-central England.

Their Seadogs and Swashbucklers range...

If you are not totally focussed on the details of fashion, there could be some usable figures in ECW ranges, though officers often still wore armour at that time.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Eureka and Steve Barber do 40mm Three Musketeer themed models (including scenery bits)

Old Glory carries a SLEW of 15mm musketeers and pirates (blue moon), plus coaches and terrain for them (as well as ships...)

Empress does ECW minis, which are suitable for more than just ECW. Their stuff is amazing for quality. Not very 'active' though for this range.

Oh, if going with 15mm, Rebel Minis make a number of pirates.

If you want some pirates, North Star did a series of packs in 28mm for that other Osprey blue series ruleset.

Should be able to get these from Brigade or maybe FRPGames in the States.
