@Ustrello: Try running your pics through this software:

Was suggested to me by Jan after last month's challenge, and has really worked wonders for my pics.

So here is my final PROOFpic of my last 3 minis.
So all together there are 4 Mega Armour Grots (WarGrot, GrotMek, WeirdGrot & RocketGrot)
plus 1 GrotTank - who still needs some work on it.

Hope you like em

It's highly unlikely that I'll finish this. But here's the groundwork for what the tiny daemon sits on.

I think we need to have a spin off thread for things that don’t get done in time. "Dakka’s (Unofficial) Painting Challenge: Where are they now?” Where people can continue to work on stuff that didn’t make the deadline. Don’t need to reset it every month, just keep on rolling it forward.

I know some of us have blogs we can just continue in, but not everyone does, and this would let them keep getting feedback/encouragement from the community.

That's a very cool idea.
Or even if say, once a year we do a "revisited" contest that stands alone and people can enter one of their proven failures that they wish they'd done on time.

Wow, there some great conversions and entries so far, I've not even started, (busy couple of weeks). Nice work guys.

I'm doing a Furioso dreadnaught. The problem is, I've not done any blood angels so far, (they're my next army!). I've started a few test models and I've come up with a blend and tone of red I like, (see piccy below). I just need to practice it and add some highlights (it has a little v thin evil sunz scarlet layered). Does anyone have any tips on highlight colours for this scheme (GW paints preferably).

I want to keep away from oranges as I find a little bit of orange edge highlighting can make the whole model look very orange. I was thinking perhaps cadian flesh tone? start with 50:50 mix cadian/mephiston, cadian then cadian/screaming skull. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

With this picture I know the rest is very basically done and its not as neat as it could be but its just a test for the reds; I only did the metal and gold as it was annoying me seeing it primed white.
