Adeptus TItanicus.
Ok, not exactly much to show here except the poster below.
However talking to Andy Hoare, Mark Bedford and Chris Drew I can mention the following:
The game is set during the Horus Heresy in the spirit of the original Adeptus Titanicus.
It will begin with just Titans.
The scale will be 8mm - They decided on this scale after 3D printing a Marine, Dread, Leman Russ, Warlord and a Mastodon in three different scales. 8mm was deemed the best as you could see the details to the point of telling different armour marks apart but didn't make the Titans too big.
8mm will make a Warlord around 6" tall (that's what it looked like why Andy Hoare put his hands apart, don't blame me if the final model is smaller or larger...).
The models will be produced in resin by Forge World.
Typical force may be in the region of two Warlords, two Reavers and two-three Warhounds.
More Titan variants are possible.
Down the road infantry and tanks are to be introduced.
Other forces are also possible, this includes Xenos which can be introduced in a themed expansion, e.g. Adeptus Titanicus: Armageddon to bring in the Orks.
Currently the Titans are being 3D modelled by Chris Drew, the Warlord has been done as the 40k version was originally 3D modelled so it was a case of just scaling things down and getting it to work as a model which can be manufactured.
We may, may, get to see something at the Forge World Open Day...(may, depending on Tony Cottrell)
http://recalcitrantdaze.blogspot.de/2016/05/warhammer-fest-2016-part-four-lord-of.html
Thanks for posting this. This is the best gaming news I've had in years! Can't wait for his to be released.
8mm isn't that big a change and all my old terrain should still be good.

Interested in infantry so I can finally build a portable Combat Patrol/Kill Team/low points 40k-in-a-box. I've wanted that for years now. Wasn't possible though.* Getting into FW Epic itself will be way too expensive. Then again by the time they have a broad range out I should already be a doctor
*Epic was already dead when I decided to do this, but I should've gotten Warmaster stuff at least.

All in all I think Warhammerfest was a bit better than last year, but still pretty crappy, not a patch on the glorious games days of old, its now just a sales day, without enough stock....
The painting pods or whatever they were called were quite amusing I thought, not very well thought out at all, you could not hear the person doing the demonstration nor could you see what they were doing as the cameras were not even in focus.
A shame really because some of the staff that were on those demos really are good at what they do and they have a lot they could tell us, it was a real shame that only a small handfull of people could actually see or hear what was happening.
The video game section, well its better than not having one I guess, but I think it is a bit of a kop out just to fill a room with a load of computer games. One thing for sure is that GW are going all out with the video games licences, there is a lot of shovel ware but also some solid titles in there as well.
Was nice to see and demo the new board game and see the up and coming blood bowl board, some teams and a few concept sketches.
The only thing I really enjoyed as always were the seminars, shame I could only get in one this year, I was on the bus home by two oclock this year wondering why on earth they refer to it as a fest...
better luck next time I guess..

I don't think anybody will be shocked that the scale for Epic is changing. Although with 8mm marines the old IG infantry should be about the right size A rough top size of 6 inches would give us a Warlord that's between a 40k Dreadknight and a Imperial knight in size. Should be a impressive kit, hopefully with plenty of scope for add-ons and variants. Really looking forward to this release and there redesign of the Emperor class(Its FW there's no way there not going to make one).

Hi everyone,
Since Rogue Factor will be at the Warhammer Fest this weekend in Coventry, we'll give the attendees an exclusive first look at our upcoming Warband: the Witch Hunters! This warband will include 7 new warriors and a full campaign.
Come visit us at the booth and we’ll be delighted to show you the Witch Hunters or discuss Mordheim and Warhammer in general.
For those who cannot attend the event, we will provide more information once we're back from the UK by the end of the month.
Did anyone see the Witch Hunter Warband for the Mordheim: City of the Damned ( PC Game) What Hero Options, weapon options, Impressive options, skills etc?
I play the hell out of that game, and I'm pretty pumped to see more additions.

Epic minis were such an inconsistent scale, where infantry, tanks, aircraft, Knights, Titans, and superheavies were all built at different scales consistent only with other minis of the same type. I think the most important take away is that these new miniatures will be a consistent scale. This will be Adeptus Titanicus and centered around Titans; I think that's an important consideration because they were the most out of scale in the Epic days when they introduced all the non-Titans. A Warlord in 8mm will end up roughly 6" tall, like a 40k Knight.
The game being Titan centric with the 8mm scale really aligns the different Titans with some standard kit sizes. Warlord is Knight sized, a Reaver dreadknight sized, a Warhound dreadnought sized, Knights being centurion sized... An Emperor Titan being almost 40k Warhound tall. Importantly this allows GW to produce kits with a quality of detail comparable to their other game lines rather than sacrificing detail. Going even further standard vehicles in the future will align to common product sizes, for instance a Rhino or Leman Russ will be about a 40k infantry model and will actually be a size that can benefit from the mix and match of parts... Infantry end up the size of a 40k marine torso instead of a marine head.

So, that mini warlord model that was around when they first introduced the 28mm version was probably the AT version after all?
I'm more interested in AT than absolutely anything else GW may produce in the next 5 years to be honest, the smaller scale suits the setting much, much more than 28mm ever will.

Yep. I get that the Red Scorpions are FW's baby and that they make a convenient vehicle(aha) for shunting out 40K rules for 30K Legion stuff, but I was really hoping a "starring role" in an IA book would get the Mechanicus some really awesome stuff, while now I don't expect much more than a few bits of fluff and maybe if we're lucky 40K rules for the Triaros and Krios.
OTOH - Adeptus Titanicus
Blood Bowl looks nice, not really my bag though.
New Fimir, even if it's just a single Noble, is awesome. I really hope FW keep expanding them.
The size of the new Knight is extremely disappointing IMO. A model just a wee bit bigger than a regular Knight would have been affordable and usable for me, this thing won't be either since it would see use so rarely I can't justify the inevitably inflated cost. Bad form FW.

The new giant Knight just seems like it going to be too difficult to use outside of apocalypse sized games.
The Cerastus' size made sense because it was really just longer legs but this is so bulky and close to a warhound you'd think its a crewed Knight. FW really needed to do something in between the Paladin and Cerastus chassis and by going bigger than the Cerastus, Paladins seem too small by comparison and there is a certain visual dissonance that makes it feel like the FW Knights don't necessarily belong alongside the GW ones.

BB stuff looks good.
The Tau super suits look great. One of them has a great rack! *rimshot* The not-Blight Drone is cool as well.
Apparently the story has the Tau attacking a Forge World, so the Adeptus Mechanicus should still play a pretty big role.

It just seems like the Mechanicus have gone from being the stars to being the damsels in distress. Sure they'll be around and sure they'll kick some Xenos butt, but it gives the impression that they'll have less character and be less central to the narratives progression.

And yes, it comes with AV 14 and more hullpoints, but at the cost of a lower initiative.
The important thing to note is that those test rules were written when they first showed it as being halfway between a Cerastus and Paladin chassis. I suspect now that they've made it that much larger it makes sense for its weapons to have more of a direct parallel to the Warhound's suite of weapons. From Warhound to Reaver to Warlord there is a lineage and progression of related weapons that are incrementally more powerful. These are certainly less than "turbolasers" but they obviously have some relationship. I suspect they may have decided to scale up the knight so that these weapons fit that progression better.

I got a feeling the very first appearance of Tau titans is going to cause a stir among the Imperium and a loss. I'm going to call Tau victory on this one, but with some caveat. Maybe a Pyrrhic victory for the Tau at worse. This is revenge for the gulf after all and we want to understand the Imperiums best tech better. Supposedly it ties into the events that happened in the two books. But this might be hearsay.
