Adeptus Titanicus and Space Marine was my first foray into the 40k universe, great that they bring it back, not a fan of the scale change though.

I am. I have about 20 old titans and 50ish knights, but will gladly pay money for new, properly scaled models that use the updated and refined FW sculpts, rather than the occasionally ugly epic designs. Bare minimum, Warlord, Reaver, Warhound to paint up matching my 28mm ones. More likely a full battle group of 3 Warlords, 3 Reavers, and 4-6 Warhounds. Plus knights when they make those, say a household of 3 teams of 3 with a baron.

End of the year and that the next IA book will be before it, was all I got out of them.

Whenever I hear talk of Titan Legions I always think of the battle report in some old white dwarf, with an imperator facing off against orks with tanks and ground troops thrown in.

It was one of the very best battle reports they ever did.

The Titan Legions box set came with an Imperator and two Mega-Gargants! Oh and a pile of Knights, too.

Gosh, I think it was Games Day 98, they were selling Imperator Titans for $5.00 apiece.

Oh you're making me cry...

Such a great model.

I hated that big static plastic lump, was the only titan I ever disliked really, I can see why they had to almost give them away.

I remember reading a few Epic/Titan whatever Battlereports in White Dwarf over and over and over again.

Never got the chance to play it :\

To everyone who came and had a chat with us at Warhammer Fest, we hope you enjoyed your special "sneak peek" at our new project, Warhammer 40,000: Titan Legions! Andy and I had a great time meeting you, chatting about our game, and just soaking up the great Warhammer Fest atmosphere.
If you didn't attend Warhammer Fest, or otherwise missed seeing Titan Legions, we're sorry to say you'll have to wait a bit longer (until Titan Legions is formally announced) before we can share details about the game with you. In the meantime, you'll have to make do with these photos of Andy and Mark thoroughly enjoying themselves at Warhammer Fest.

yet another computer game !

We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

I did subscribe earlier this week out of curiosity, but I wonder, will it be a proper PC game, or one for the portables?

I hope it's proper PC game where you get to either be a Princeps in a Titan or you get to control an actual Titan Legion with Skitarri like in Mechanicum. That would be awesome

Lazy shovelware or a proper game?

The odds are not too great these days, although I hear the BFG game was pretty great?

That's the only other game they did. It's essentially an Epic port without the IP stuff.

Mixed reviews on that one.

Wait?

So no tabletop Titan Legions?

Or both a video game and a table top game?

It was, enjoyed it quite a bit, they got that one right. Deathwing has my hopes up too, if anything it just looks amazing -

I'll second the Gothic PC game is quite good, as is Mordheim. The new Deathwing shooter looks pretty nice as well.

I hope the Titan Legions game isn't just shovelware but time will tell.

I'd say that there is a LOT of potential here for a very good port of the Epic rules to come out of this.

They've got the underpinning framework of the game already in place through "Exodus Wars".

Add in the funding, time, and 40K / Epic units, and all the right elements are there for a modern version of "Final Liberation" or similar.

Will watch with interest...
