Rolling the bottle? Wow, wouldn't that take, forever? lol. Maybe attach to a high speed drill?

What, you mean like this?

Homebrew Imperial Guard: 1222nd Etrurian Lancers (Winged); Special Air-Assault Brigade (SAAB)
Homebrew Chaos: The Black Suns; A Medrengard Militia (think Iron Warriors-centric Blood Pact/Sons of Sek)

Or, just use something like this

Stick it right into the bottle/pot. You know, the same way you would mix up paint that you use to paint your house or deck. Imagine if we were discussing wither a 5 gallon pail of paint would be best shaken or rolled

Well, that one's obvious. I wasn't rolling all that fence paint up and down the garden path for my health, y'know.

Years ago I switched from Citadel to Vallejo's Game Color line and initially I was really happy with the change. After a while, however, I needed to buy a few more paints and... not sure what happened exactly. I don't know if they changed the formula, or if some pots had just been sitting idle for too long in the store (as Talys suggested), but I started getting way more watered paints. With some of them it was flat out ridiculous, to the point that it's been like five years (at least) and I'm still using Dark Green only for washes

About a year and a half ago I switched to Model Color and overall I've been very happy again, to the point that right now when I need to replace a spent Game Color pot I just pick the equivalent (or closest) Model Color one.

Initially I missed GW's metals, as I've found Vallejo's silver metals to be terrible (the copper-bronze metals are okay-ish). However it's been a while since I stopped using metallic colors for my models, nowadays I just prefer scales of greys for silver metals and scales of reddish browns for copper-bronze. I still own a few Vallejo metals which I use for small details when I don't want to be bothered to mix.

Progress is like a herd of pigs: everybody is interested in the produced benefits, but nobody wants to deal with all the resulting gak.

GW customers deserve every bit of outrageous princing they get.

Down Under

I own quite a few Vallejo Model Color paints now and have enjoyed using them as much as P3's range. They do need to be shaken a bit more, but I consider that a nice little forearm workout.

Speaking of err... uses for one's forearms, another potential solution to the shaking dilemma may be to strap the paint bottles to a 'vibrating object' of some kind.... I've heard some of the kind I'm thinking of can be quite.. powerful.
