My KoM "Averland Avengers" lost to the Orc Life in the Portal scenario. The dungeon terrain isfrom Battle Systems. I painted most of the KoM minis back in 2013 when I learned of KoW so it eas great to get to use them.
May the dice be with you!

(I sure do wish we had a little more variety for some of the big guys. One of those trolls looks awesome, but a rank of them wouldn't look so awesome. I love the new Basilean Ogre. I don't love how similar looking they all are)
Also, WHAT BE UP WITH THE ROUND BASES?!?!?!
I play...
Sigh.
Who am I kidding? I only paint these days...

I have been doing everything on round bases recently so as to have a system-agnostic collection. If/when I ever get around to playing Vanguard, I'll find a way to mark the rear facing and sort of ignore base sizes.
My KOW Undead so far. I'm using GW ghosts and werewolves from the TTCombat halfling kickstarter. The heroes are GW too, except the "classic" vampire. I think he is from Heresy. Mantic skeletons, zombies and ghouls will follow. My other VC stuff from WHFB will be repurposed too.

Nice packed ghost unit, and those are some great werewolf sculpts! Gangly GW vampire chick has always been a miss for me - especially compared to the Isabella Von Carstein model that more or less replaced her - but you've polished that sculpt admirably all the same
Thanks a lot! The female vampire isn't my favourite either. Since I got even more vampires lying around, she won't see much playtime.
If you scroll through these pages you really want to play more KOW and Vanguard. There's some incredibly good stuff here! A lot more creative and fun to look at, than most of what I've seen for GW systems. So, keep it coming!

There's a lot of good stuff here. Great to look at, thanks all!
To return the favour: Last week I did a photoshoot of my for-now-completed undead army. Not all of it is painted as well as the stuff here, the completed army is pretty epic.

Pointwise, it adds up to over 8,500 points without magical items and upgrades. Closeups of the army can be found on my blog:
Freakin' great! Now I've got to figure out how to photograph my collection of undead... The largest roadblock is basically inertia... It's a lot of work to unpack, set up and shoot!
I play...
Sigh.

My club was gifted a pile of goodies from Mantic, and I opted for the Forces of Nature (a far cry from undead...! But I was playing Elves in our campaign, so that's a more natural progression).
Thanks Mantic!
None painted yet, but I'm blogging the results here:
Since the Vanguard Kickstarter Blaine sat unassembled on my shelves... but this week I will need him for my next campaign game...
Brown primer (Army Painter Leather Brown Spray), one or max 2 layers of paint and then different washes for different regions.
The photo doesn't show it off well (it never does when I'm behind it...), but I used Scale 75 Black Metal for his armor. It looks very cool, I love that color!
Blaine, this time as a mercenary for Kings of War Vanguard
I play...
Sigh.
Who am I kidding? I only paint these days...

*EDIT* Got a new phone, so updating to substantially better pictures, I'm clearly still missing something because the quality after upload is way worse that the original, and the quality in the forum is less than the gallery
Stand and deliver!
Ratkin shock troops with dragon diadem, unless the rules change significantly

That's really cool! And I don't think diadem will go away ... however if you were hoping to use the Shock Troops elite + vicious for ranged, I wouldn't count on it. 3E specifies whether elite / vicious is ranged or melee, I haven't seen many if any general elite / vicious. Probably reserved for especially nasty big monsters.
