Revell has a 1/72 Razor Crest model on the way but in the meantime there's this toy version.

Star Wars Mission Fleet Razor Crest
$42 on Amazon.

A bit pricey but could make a good 28mm shuttle.

4 chibi tanks for $3.

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002316897645.html

Apparently these are small for 28mm, but work for smaller games or for grot tanks.

They appear to be knock off Meng produced models from the 'World War Toons' line of kits, which are very nice btw if a little pricier than those available off of aliexpress!

These are smaller though, 1/72 while I think WW Toons is 1/48. These are grot tank size while WWT is Leman Russ size

Meng WWT ones I have got are nowhere near Russ size.
This one is roughly 9cm long by 5cm wide, and the Leman Russ I just measured is 12cm x 8cm give or take (ignoring sponsons)

Do Meng's have little push-back action wheels under the treads, cause these do.

The size of meng tanks is all over the range...
The king and the heavy Russian tank are definitely Russ sized. I converted 12 of these into russ.

If I can get a Rhino to fit in its hull it will be PERFECT.

Since it's Batman, it's already Grimdark.

Wow. That looks like it would take very little to make a great ship. It's grim and dark!

Not sure about a rhino though as it's only a bit wider than two hot wheels cars.

Yeah a Rhino or Chimera might be a bit of a stretch (no pun intended) but it looks like it can hold a platoon or two.

Neither of those things look like they could actually fly. So clearly they fit perfectly with Space Marines.

Confusingly it also appears to be called a Flying Fox. I think they may be different scales but intended to represent the same vehicle.

https://www.amazon.com/Mattel-Justice-League-Flying-Command/dp/B074PB69KK
There's a little video if you scroll down that shows the size. Probably closer to 30cm than 30 inches, but definitely a possibility as a Rhino carrier.

Has a really cool, almost Dune look.

In other news...

It's long out of production, but I picked up a Disney Planes "Cabbie" at a resale shop this weekend. Saw one painted in USAF colors for a post-apoc game up a few years back at Adepticon and have been looking out for one ever since.

It's only got a tiny mouth detail that needs to be smoothed over, and then it's a great compressed-scale 1/56 version of a Fairchild C-119
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairchild_C-119_Flying_Boxcar
Sure it's a little Chibbi, but the real deal would barely fit on a wargame table and unlike a model aircraft, this is sturdy enough for wargaming and has opening cargo bay.

Stock pic.

https://toywiz.com/disney-planes-fire-rescue-cabbie-deluxe-diecast-car/

Great for WWWII, Korea, Vietnam, and post apoc settings. Definitely something worth keeping an eye out for.

Been a while since I touched these, but got them finished.

Sprayed with Halfords' matt Khaki camouflage paint, then airbrushed over with a two-colour camo pattern.

Washed with 50/50 Aggaros Dunes and Contrast Medium. I love that thinned Contrast paints work as both a wash (to pick out detail) and a filter (to bring the colours together by adding a coloured tint over the entire model).

IMG_20210921_221155 by Derek Hendrie, on Flickr

Final photo with a drybrush of Ushabti Bone, decals and sealed with matt varnish.

IMG_20210924_103923 by Derek Hendrie, on Flickr

As I said before, total outlay was about £15/$20 for 5 Space Marine style fighting vehicles. Colour may be a bit saturated for a realistic look, but I'm fine with that.

Wow how did I miss these when the JLA movie came out?

Probably because I saw it and immediately forgot anything about it.

Anyway searching for the two Flying Foxes also turned up these of potential use.

$65 walker thing. Package weighs 3 lbs so it's probably a big boy.

https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01N5B1GEW/

$20 Superman space ship thing. Again a big one.

https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01N49LLMV/

$10 1/50 scale Batmobile

https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07B68FTYX/?coliid=I1VA5T0WA9ZQKT&colid=1AQNEF7RBO6IS&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

And the bigger Fox for $65. It's meant to hold 6" figures and the package is 23" long so... maybe.

https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B074PB69KK/

I ordered the Hot Wheels Flying Fox and will post pics when I have it in hand.

For all his stuff obviously… not like that skin tight suit has much cargo capacity. do You know how many macguffins the average hero has to go and collect these days? It’s a lot, like a lot a lot. You might think it’s a lot of macguffins just to get to the local pharmacy, but that’s got nothing on superheroing.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

The walker thing could be cool, but would need the inner sides of the legs filled in.

Those look fantastic. If I didn't know, I would have assumed it was some aftermarket resin kit.

This looks like a cool ship for a Stargrave or 5 Parsecs crew.
