I keep seeing posts around that Instinct has fewer players than the other two, but I think that's just coming from online polls and not hard data.

I dunno, where I am it's mystic slightly ahead of valor, with instinct without much of a presence outside of one or two guys I've seen pretty much, and it's roughly the same from friends in other places.

Anecdotal sure, but it seems pretty normal. (Although I've heard Rome has a big instinct team)

I am Team Instinct and for the last couple days we have been dominating my town. We have been promoting the team within our group of friends though.

Instinct seems to be the odd man here too but I see my team's colors sometimes.

Valor baby. I liked a Go page on Facebook that keeps pushing some pretty funny team pics and memes. I like starting my day with a chuckle.

Once you hit level 10 you'll start finding higher starting CP Pokemon, especially if you use an incense. Wait to evolve a bunch of Pokemon at once while using a Lucky Egg to maximize your experience gains. If you can time it to include hatching eggs all the better.

Only use your stardust on Pokemon that have the white semicircle almost all the way across- that shows their CP in relation to your trainer level. if I could go back I wouldn't use any dust on anything until I hit level 10 and started catching higher CP Pokemon.

I'm level 9 right now and I've already started to. A CP275 Oddish got away from me tonight, and I caught a CP315 Beedrill on my break.

And I didn't realize how much experience you got from hatching eggs, I literally hatched like four of them tonight all at once. Would have been a good time to use that free lucky egg I got from my last level up.

Yeah, I was saving all of my stardust originally but I caved and blew it all the other day. Probably shouldn't have done that. Hopefully it doesn't set me back too much, but I have friends on Facebook who have a stable of 400+ Pokemanz already so I feel like I'm way behind.

Once you hit level 10+ you'll start finding wild Pokemon with 400+ CP, but they're still fairly rare.

Does anyone know if powering up the CP To max before evolving has any benefits? I've been wondering and I've even been powering up a Pokemon to try it but if you know the answer great because i doing want to be wasting my time

Usually not worth it- you'll probably catch one at a higher CP later. Of course of the White Bar is almost all the way the across it can be beneficial to keep it even with your level.

Well something weird happened today. I went to a stop and had 43 balls left. I get home and capture a couple more only to suddenly be hit with no more pokeballs left. I have no idea how I used 43 balls getting 3 Pokemon in a mile bike ride. They just vanished

Just got the game after my friend helped me get it (no official release yet for UK).

So excited! Will be roaming first thing tomorrow as I've been out all day and don't feel like walking around at night tonight.

Just as well I'm taking a trip to Blackpool with my mate. Lots of water pokemon and a slight deviation on route if we come across Articuno and co...

If you're starting out, read ALL of the strategy articles you can. When it's time to farm, do so after work, where someone has set out Lures (pink snowstorm) - it will dramatically speed play for you.

Finally got started properly since my new phone arrived, good start as well cause it pretty much went pidgey, pidgey, scyther in my lounge room before I went out on my first walk to check out where the local stops are. Really weak cause I think I was level two when I caught it, but a nice start I think.

I have stopped using Stardust to upgrade my monsters. I am stockpiling until I reach level 20+ so that I can have naturally higher CP pokemon to use it on. I have also been saving been collecting pidgeys for the candy. I will collect a bunch during the day then I will pop a lucky egg and start evolving them for a massive boost in experience.

Pidgey only cost 12 Candy to evolve in to Pidgeoto, then you just transfer the Pidgeoto off to get more candy.

That sounds right. From what I read, you should be evolving before upgrading, because you should find better bases to evolve from as your level goes up.

Two Men Fall Off Cliff Near San Diego While Playing Pokemon Go

The men were playing the game in Encinitas when they fell more than 75 feet to the beach below. According to officers, the men got distracted while trying to catch Pokémon.

Crews at the scene used a rope to rescue one of the men. Neither man was seriously injured.

Because they didn't catch the pokemon...

Totally worth it!

Me and the other half have gotten into it, a little bit. We are debating having a pokemon party at our house. We'd finally get our friends to come visit! Evidently we get a lot of spawns of cool stuff... for example, I see Dratini every night at about 9 PM. There are 2 gyms in walking distance that all rotate between all 3 teams. So it could be pretty fun!

I'm amazed, actually, that I've talked to people in the neighborhood more in the last couple days than in the last couple years. All about Pokemon. It's really kinda cool.

IMO, it's premature to have Pokemon Go parties, because there's no way to trade or fight. It's the opposite of having a LAN party, because you can't interact directly.

OTOH, I stumbled into a 5-stop cluster. That was pretty good for collecting stuff. Even got a Hitmonchan out of it. Unfortunately, the Pinsir I was trying to catch ran away.

They can kind of work since the pokemon are the same for everyone I think, but more like hunting parties though. This game really needs being able to have free battles with other people and trading.

I've heard you can pick the balls back up if you tap them before they vanish at least, no idea if it actually works but can't hurt to try when you miss.
