Awesome, awesome, awesome! Really love this fig, mate!

In particular the glowing effect on the gun, and the lenses also look superb.

Did I mention how much I love that Squig?

Thanks man! haha glad you still like the squig Still trying to perfect the glowing effect but my airbrush is always on the fritz and sputters a lot.

Yeah, I probably spent a week trying to figure out the camera settings. It seems to be an issue with either a: the iso is set too low and picks up on the samera shaking when I push the button (even though it's on a tripod) or b: when I zoom in it creates a wierd depth of field and focus on specific points rather than the entire model. It's a pretty good camera but I honestly have no clue how to fix it.

The squig and the grot are what makes it for me. Which is not to say that the rest isn't excellent work because it is! But i love those two in particular.

realism is a lie

Has your camera got a timer mode? If so, use it with the camera on the tripod. That way there is no movement from the button being pressed (as you hand is clear when the shutter goes).

Super delayed response here... I kinda thought this model bombed due to the bad pictures and didn't notice anyone else had replied. Just wanted to say thinks for all the kind words!

I actually hooked the camera up to my computer so I could take the pictures remotely without touching the camera. Not sure if the issue is my lense or what, but for some reason it focuses on one part of the model and blurs everything else. Only happens on this particular model but I think it's because the proportions are a bit longer.
