Can anyone recommend a good sandy desert mat? Preferably something that works for 6mm as well as 28mm and in the yellow/orange spectrum rather then brown.

I have one of the neoprene Deep Cut mats linked above and have to say it has done sterling services for me. This is an old picture of a 10mm Warmaster game.


Definitely an orange hue. The brighter yellow scenery bases you can see are W&N Yellow Ochre and have since been hit with a chestnut wash which now matches the orange nicely.
