I guess some kid mutilated this Ultron, because when I found it tossed near the bins in one winter day the left hand was missing and the other one was separated from the body. I have no idea why, but I picked up the toy and bring it home where I cleaned it and later on primed it. I wanted to build a mural for my terrain projects with it, but then I just said to myself "Hey, this can actually be converted into a C'tan". I have green stuff and I can have this fix, but the problem is that i do not know really how. I wanted to sculpt a sphere and place and glue it into the right hand, so it will be like is holding a reanimation orb, but I don't know if this is a good idea. They are slaves after all, not Necron Overlwolds, why would they have reanimation orbs? Second, I don't know what to make with the missing hand. Should I sculpt it like a Night bringer - a scythe that is an extension the whole hand or just make a cryptech mechanized tentacle? Also, since C'tan are slaves, maybe I can wrap up some chains on his legs?

Do you think this can be converted into a C'tan?

Also if possible, could you please give me advise on some good red washesh. I know that this stuff Is usually darks and browns, but for the creating of the wings of those rhinos I experimented with Darkenhoff Nightshade and a drop of khorne red, but the result was not a wash at all. The stuff just won't stick to the white wing and I want it crimson on white, because I the chapter name is Crimson Wings. I hear good things about Vallejo washes (or inks, dont really know the difference here) and consider that the white is applied with Vallejo air I think it may work.

Not sure if this helps, but I was working on modeling energy arcs for an ork tellyporta on a previous project. I have not experimented with it much after that but found that there was a ton of potential, especially for something like this.

I basically took some wire, twisted it up in the desired shape and dipped it into resin. You can mix in some talc powder to get more of a gooey consistency or just double dip to get more build up. Could be cool to make the arm this way as if it were just pure energy sprouting from where his arm use to be.

Would be good toi if you wanted to style your Ctan more like the transcendent one that you (annoyingly) can only get in the £90 box.

That's actually fantastic idea. The problem is that I have no idea how to get resin in my country or how to work with it. However I will ask around thoug!
