If they really want to impress me then the Exodites will get a character representing them as well in the big Eldar quartet.

He could simply be painting it on a large spare base to prevent carpel tunnel as well.

Maybe just a bigger base because it has two models on it ?

Or maybe this Eldar is bigger than the average one? Or maybe trailing a rather large cloak behind it.

That's a big gyrinx. Lovely way to to reveal a new model and keep us teased for the rest of it.
Yeah, that's a big base for what is presumably a single eldar character, even with the cat on it. Would love it to be Malys with a particularly elaborate train on her dress but I wouldn't have thought the Deldar to have Gyrinx around what with them being somewhat psychic.

As cool as a new (old) eldar faction would be I actually hope they don't go that route. We are reaching insane levels of bloat and too many factions are becoming stagnant. I don't think it's exodites also because there have been zero rumors of exodites. It will probably be a shadowseer special character, after all the harlequins have a very small line of models and it makes sense to expand it, especially when they are playing a role in the campaign. Whats the purpose of that snark?
I paint hundreds of models a year and I am simply shedding some light on this, I use massive bases for fiddly models often, positioned near the edge just like he has it.

That's actually a good shout. I'd figured the picture was somewhat distorted but it could just be it's on an oval base.

It's not that large of a base.
It's the same size base as the Skitarii with Transauranic Arqebus, the 60x35.5mm Oval Base

Please note that GW makes and uses no less than 6 oval bases. From smallest to largest: 60x35mm - bike base 75x42mm 90x62mm 105x70mm 120x92mm - traditional Flyer base 170x105mm - Knight base So indeed the one pictured on the Grynx is not that big. But is it the 60x35, or the 75x42? -

It is. Gyrinx looks to be about as big as a Gryph-Hound, and in order to get that kind of base usage you need to do 60x35.5mm

But seriously, if it's an exodite I'll eat my hat. If there was someone riding a big lizard I would have expected Cawl to have mentioned it in that little excerpt we've seen.

Incredibly unlikely there will be an exodite. We already have descriptions of the force and characters and none pop out as an outcast. It also makes no sense fluff wise, exodites avoid everyone like the plague, they are space hermits that exist on the fringes of the galaxy. I would expect them to pop up in another campaign involving Nids and or Necrons from the eastern fringes before they would pop up near the eye of terror, you know, the exact site of the destroyed Crone worlds they went as from away from as possible.
That said, I am not crapping on the idea, just adding some salt to the reality of the situation. BTW you can build an exodite army already using DE and CWE kits mixed with Seraphon/Aelf kits pretty easily.

While the fluff from Fall of Cadia doesn't mention an Exodite character, the 5th edition rulebook (which introduced the then new Time of Ending storyline including the Emperor's throne failing and the Astronomicon flickering) came with this Eldar map showing lots of Exodite Worlds
There were a few rumors about Exodites during the last 18 months, the latest this week from WiskeyPriest on Faeit who was told one of the new Eldar character models would be an Exodite. While I don't consider this an information from a reliable source, Atia mentioned there is a chance for an Exodite release at least twice last year. I'm not convinced by the current rumors that it will happen now but if Celestine was meant to be a 'teaser release' for SoB later in 2017, the same could happen with an Exodite character model.
And the WZF campaign book 1 didn't spoiler the Thousand Sons release either

Gyrinxes are more associated with Harlequins and Craftworlders than Exodites, for what it's worth - Exodites generally prefer the scaly kind of critter.
That psyker-cat is quickly going to become the most in-demand bit going, I think.
