On the one hand monofilament CCW's
On the other, low CC stat for a supposedly CC unit, average shooting, unimpressive stats all round in fact, irregular and relatively expensive to boot.

I think I might just pass, although AD deployment and Stealth do give some interesting options for getting close.

They are alright, giving enouph to be desirable but not an auto-include.

It's not really a CC unit. The Monofilament CCW is there to inflate the points cost.

It makes it a threat to heavy non CC oriented targets though.

I actually really like the potential for this unit. Too bad MO doesn't get it, but the number of times I've had a heavy infantry deep in enemy lines that I couldn't get my Trauma-doc/any paramedic/doctor to has been... probably too high of a number.
AD+stealth would get me that chance to revive my knight to get a little bit more carnage out of him.

edit: I was completely ignoring the weapons, too. That thing has an E/Mitter!! ahhh

I like it.

It's a specialist you can deploy deep to grab objectives.
It's cheaper than any other AD specialist in the game.
It's a paramedic you can drop in (to attempt) to revive a Rambo-ing HI.
It's got an E-Mitter to really punish any TAG or HI that overextends, normal 14's to force two 1/2 BTS rolls or imm 2 and isolated is sickening, especially when you can follow up with a Mono CCW to kill a fully healthy TAG as a normal roll.
Its irregular order is irrelevant the turn it arrives.

Its a collection of season 8 and 9 missions and story. Its a limited print run for those that would want such a thing, like me. Its already sold out at gamenerdz though, not sure if they'll get more.

Sadly not a normal release. The generic release will be next year most likely and will be the other profile or just CCW/Pistol.

That's an insane price.. that's the same price range for generic SWC weapon boxes for troopers of different armies. Jesus!

Actually I think it is two identical Taskmaster bodies with two different weapon arms, two Crazy Koalas and a Tinbot.

Then it would be a 5 model box.

They count Crazy Koalas and Tinbots as models for the purposes of their boxed sets; it's the whole reason why there's been so much complaining about Tinbots taking the place of a fourth trooper figure in boxes.

Anyways, the contents I wrote are literally what was said at GenCon by Bostria. It's two different weapon arms.

If Kan is right (!), that price is awful.

It's clear that CB needs to just sell the pandas, koalas and tinbots in blisters. I'd even be find with a set that was 2 of each for $20 to keep SKU's down.
