Will be nice to have some alternate trees again, the current kit is nice but can get a bit samey.

Feth me I missed that.

Yup. Burning Chariot was $55 now $70. That's a 27% price increase.

Interesting. I don't think the € prices went up any (and our currency hasn't been all that strong vs the various dollars of the world iirc...)

Nope, Eurozone prizes have been steady. I think that screamers MAY have gone up a teensy tiny bit but that's it.

I'm positive those were €25 before so no change there. Wasn't the chariot €35 rather than €32,50 before though?

I think this is to compensate for the weak pound caused by the brexit.

Horrors as well, they were $48... now $55. Screamers if I remember right were the same price as flamers, now they're $55 while thankfully at least the flamers stayed at $40.

Just never knew cardboard could be so expensive.

Even that finecast herald went up from $61 to $70. Feth me they really take the piss sometimes. Honestly if it weren't for these price increases the start collecting box would have an awesome saving of $3 making it the absolute worst start collecting box in terms of value.

Oh he has plenty of Kirby i him, guy's still the major shareholder and is in the board, if tucked away of direct power. Still pretty dick move, though it still puzzles me why it happens on certain areas but not in all of them.

I think the Dire Avengers look good in that red color scheme, but honestly the incubi don't.

Really? I'm the opposite, blue DA look much better in my opinion (athough the red option could look good if they retained their white helmets) but I do love those red Incubi.

But you know what would be even better than giving them a new colour scheme and rules option?
Plastic Incubi.

If only.

I think they could look good, but they are too red IMO. Like their entire suit and helmet is red. Whereas the dark avengers have black helmets and more contrasts. The incubi are just solid red with a blue glaive. Now if they had a white or black helmet in that scheme they could look better. The Visarch has more going on with his armor so it breaks up the red scheme. But it's interesting how a repaint can make the dire avengers look decent despite the kit being so old. But yeah plastic Incubi are a dream for sure...the dark eldar have one of the best plastic ranges in the market IMO, phasing out the finecast Incubi seems like a no brainer.

The bright sides are the lord of change is at least $10 cheaper than I thought it'd be and my decision to never get chariots has been made for me. This is great news!

Nope, Eurozone prizes have been steady. I think that screamers MAY have gone up a teensy tiny bit but that's it.

Nope, Euro prices also went through an increase:
- Horrors went from 23€ to 25€
- Flamers went from 17.5€ to 20€
- Screamers went from 23€ to 25€

Only the chariot for some reason decreased from 35€ to 32.5€? That's quite odd.

So that's about 10% increase on the Euro prices, and a decrease on the Chariot. Seems pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, hopefully future releases will go back to the standard price decrease for all models but €2 ain't gonna break the bank. Especially with the great Start Collecting and the very reasonable prices on the new stuff. Australia gets fethed as normal.

If you think your important, in the great scheme of things. Do the water test.

Put your hands in a bucket of warm water,
then pull them out fast. The size of the hole shows how important you are.
I think we should roll some dice, to see if we should roll some dice, To decide if all this dice rolling is good for the game.

I wouldn't say the getting started is great, its alright at best. Worse here since the only reason there's savings is because the prices increased.

That is not the point though. It's the principal. Then again, maybe it's a Canadian thing. We get nickled and dimed to death with taxes. Taxes on taxes. While it's only 2 bucks here or there, it freaking adds up over time.

Just remember this my friend. The start box for Battle for Lord of the Rings, Battle for Macragge and I believe Fantasy boxes at the time were $75 Canadian or $50 US. Those box sets or were the ones in 5th edition started off at $75 as well and became $100 eventually because the "little increases that don't break the bank" kept on coming. So same box that costed $75 had like a 33% increase. Why?

Who is to say GW is not going to start having "little increases that don't break the bank" again? This was one of the reasons why GW was where they were in 2015.

So again, it's the principle. Just like the bully who instead of punches you in the gut has stopped. But now all of a sudden starts punching you in the shoulder now when you walk by. It doesn't hurt as much as a punch in the gut, still doesn't make it right.

You are saying be happy because it wasn't so bad as it was before? All this show, GW hasn't changed at all then. Smoke and mirrors. Smoke and mirrors.

In other news, inflation happens; film at eleven.

Seriously though, how cranky do you guys get when the supermarket puts ten cents on the pound for oranges, or your soda suddenly starts coming in a new, improved, (smaller), bottle for the same price? 'Cause if you're ranting like this somewhere every day I gotta know where; free entertainment is usually so expensive these days….

Inflation in the european continent? Last time I checked it was nigh to non-existant (as far as our monetary system allows for) and it certainly didn't reach the double digits (and thank god).

Not gonna matter much for me but I understand people getting pissed off.

If by economically suicidal you mean you had an 1.7%, then yes. Seriously, you're ruled by conservatives. The only way you could have double digits of inflation there would be if Merkel decided to pull a Blitz II: Electric Boogaloo on London and you started mass-manufacturing weapons and all to the point where your coasts would become a porcupine on edge.
