I wanted to do a Tzeentch Daemons list using multiple Start Collecting Boxes as the basis for the army, I won't be using the Wrath of Magnus rules to keep the dollar cost down ( way to many Blue Horrors to buy )

HQ's
Lord of Change: Psyker Lvl 3, The Impossible Robe, Exalted Reward, Greater Reward. 330pts
Herald of Tzeentch: Psyker Lvl 2, Greater Reward. 90pts
Herald of Tzeentch: Psyker Lvl 2, Greater Reward. 90pts
Changeling: 75pts

Elites
Flamers of Tzeentch (9): Pyrocaster, Greaterr Reward. 232pts

Troops
Pink Horrors (20): Iridescent Horror, Instrument of Chaos, Icon of Chaos, Greater Reward. 225pts
Pink Horrors (20): Iridescent Horror, Instrument of Chaos, Icon of Chaos, Lesser Reward. 215pts
Pink Horrors (20): Iridescent Horror, Instrument of Chaos, Icon of Chaos, Lesser Reward. 215pts

Fast Attack
Screamers of Tzeentch (9): 225pts

Heavy Support
Burning Chariot of Tzeentch; 100pts
Burning Chariot of Tzeentch; 100pts
Burning Chariot of Tzeentch; 100pts

Total: 1997pts

This is 3 Start Collecting Boxes, 3 boxes of Pink Horrors, The Changeling and a Lord of Change. It leaves a Herald of Tzeentch spare to summon.
I was thinking of using Malefic powers on all the Psykers and grabbing some of the new Gryph Hounds to use as Flesh Hounds of Khorne (Tzeentch) and some more Screamers to summon

LoC wants 2xGreater + Lesser rather than an Exalted.
Herald of Tzeentch: Psyker Lvl 2, Greater Reward. 90pts
Herald of Tzeentch: Psyker Lvl 2, Greater Reward. 90pts

These guys want Discs, you can make these from chariots.
Changeling: 75pts

I am sorry to say this, but the Changeling is a bit crap. Better to leave him or run him as a regular herald.
Elites
Flamers of Tzeentch (9): Pyrocaster, Greaterr Reward. 232pts

These guys can be alright, only problem is they're quite expensive for a jump unit with flamers
Troops
Pink Horrors (20): Iridescent Horror, Instrument of Chaos, Icon of Chaos, Greater Reward. 225pts
Pink Horrors (20): Iridescent Horror, Instrument of Chaos, Icon of Chaos, Lesser Reward. 215pts

The upgrades on these guys are not worth it. Also, if you run them as 5x units of 11 pink horrors you can squeeze an extra Mastery Level out (plus msu is better than big units unless you want to tar pit).
Fast Attack
Screamers of Tzeentch (9): 225pts

These guys are great, this is where you want to stick your Heralds, give one of those Heralds Grimoire and your away.
Heavy Support
Burning Chariot of Tzeentch; 100pts
Burning Chariot of Tzeentch; 100pts
Burning Chariot of Tzeentch; 100pts

These guys are a bit pants, much better if you use the kit to make a Herald on a disc + 3x Screamers each.

The suggestions I have given here are if you want to optimise your list, you can quite easily run this list just because you like it but it would be a bit harder.

Hope this helps!

I was going to add the Changeling and Heralds to the units of Pink Horrors
The Lord of Change i'll swap the rewards, two greater does seem better
I kind of like the Chariots, though one will be swapped out for a Daemon Prince the first chance I get.
The upgrades are there just to max out the points to dollar ratio

The only problem is that they are a bit restricted in an infantry squad, which really you want to be sitting on objectives, so the Heralds won't be able to move around as needed.

I perfectly understand, the chariots do look quite nice. Just don't be suprised if they don't do much for you on the tabletop.

That's completely fine.

Don't do this. you are just handicapping yourself. Just play a smaller points game with out the useless upgrades (1850 is more common anyway)

Nobody plays 1850 in the local community, maybe 1750 sometimes.
I'm not to bothered about handicapping myself, I don't play competitively and not many people play tournament lists here. I'm just going for the sheer randomness of playing Daemons.
