Aside from what comes in the core box, I have specifically bought Skitarii, GSC, Vostroyans, and Dark Eldar thanks to SW. I have wanted all of these models for as long as they have been out (or in the case of Vostroyans, as long as I have been into this IP). If there were lists for Thousand Sons and the larger AdMech, you can bet I would buy them, too! I am also really tempted by Tyranid, Necron, Craftworld, and GK. Pretty much the only team I am not interested in is Harlequins.

No you can't. You can pre-order a physical copy on the 22nd, but the actual release date hasn't been announced; only that it'll be "a few weeks" later.

Pretty much the same here. I will probably get a squad of Dire Avengers (in the box with the Wave Serpent because why not?), and possibly some Tyranid Warriors.

My friend, you can buy the digital copy on 4/22:
We’re also making a digital edition of this new book, giving you yet another choice on how to get your copy, which will also be available to pre-order that same weekend.

When you will get the digital copy you buy on 4/22 is a separate matter.

Obviously the answer is pick up everything, naturally!

We'll be going at it this weekend. Necrons vs Skitarii most likely.j

PDFs are already out there. I downloaded one. So are so more concise reference sheets if you don't like constantly flipping through the book like me.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

And again, you're completely ignoring that the org chart IS important because your objection is that FW products are niche and boutique, but Necromunda 2.0, should it happen, will not be a FW product, it will be a Specialist Games plastic product with FW support. Blood Bowl uses that model. Hell, 40K uses that model. So why would a new Necromunda be any different to them?

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?

Yodhrin, please study the different meanings of "support":

FW "supports" 40k
- no miniature in any dex sold by GW is a FW-exclusive model

FW "supports" BB
- about 40% of miniatures releases are FW-exclusive

FW "supports" LotR/Hobbit
- all new miniatures releases are FW-exclusive

Probably not very. 4000 boxes would only be 10 per GW store, ignoring all internet and FLGS orders. Doubt they only made 4000.

Read somewhere in this thread the the US release was 4000 copies (which, at 80 per state and a ludacrisly low number for USA sales). 20K worldwide?

Been out of it for a bit so not really understanding what is going on. How come people are saying Kill Teams? Does this mean if I like to play I need a copy of Kill Teams or in this case it means something else? I don't get what people are meaning creating Kill Teams.

Debated on including it because (a) not a figure/entry in any list and (b) it is a new release but apparently only because it was held up in the production line. And yet to wit - I bought six of them. I have bought zero FW Hobbit releases.

In Shadow War, a warband is called a Kill Team.
Davor wrote:

The game called "Kill Team" is a separate, OOP rule set. If you want to play Shadow War, you can pre-order a copy of the rulebook (either digital or softcover) on April 22.

There are many models that are FW exclusives that are in gw books.
Just using my orks as an example forgeworld is the ONLY source for nobs on bikes and a warboss on bike.
Sure you can convert whatever model you want but that still has nothing to do with the fact forgeworld is the only location to buy it.
There are a few other examples I can think of like this including nurgle demon princes, etc.

Spoiler:

That's the magic of the old specialist game model. Gateway style gaming WITHOUT forcing boxed sales on people. IMO it's way more effective to get people excited about your product through fringe items that are low buy in (low hanging fruit) and allow that to generate excitement and familiarity.. and.. a fledgling collection. Apocalypse and Kill Team just really seemed like "here buy this stuff" and not really anything cool enough to drive people to deeply explore anything other than financing options.

Thank you very much. I tried to pre order a box but our store only got 2 boxes. I was number 3 lol. Nice to know they are releasing a book for it. Will look forward to it. Does anyone know if there will be an interactive version for iPad for it?

I think you misread. The people giving these 4000 unit figure were in the U.K.
In the past when GW has manufactured the kind of limited number of units we've seen with this release the figure put out by people in contact with GW has been 20,000 units. The U.K., continental Europe, and Asia are generally allocated equal numbers of units, with North America getting the balance.

In general this allocation allows half of the total inventory to be sold on pre-order and an average allocation ~3.5 units per retailer. Unless a retailer requested more sets they'd only get 2 sets, which how a few retailers managed to get more.

Except for the Lake-Town House.
Originally when they announced Specialist Games and the developers were talking about the added plastic production capacity they were saying the primary purpose of that was to be able to manufacture the specialized terrain necessary to play many of these games, with FW producing the majority of miniatures. Lake-town House and this most recent industrial terrain release is a perfect example of their original intention.

So, possibilities:
UK, EU and Asia get 4000 each and the US gets 8000?

UK, EU and Asia get 5000 each and the US gets 5000?

A hole on the back of the bike to stick a boss pole is not a nob biker.
Nor the fact you conviently left out the ork warboss on bike.
And I assure you there is NO nurgle demon prince on gw site as I just looked for a model. The great unclean one, epidemus, or herald of nurgle are not a demon prince.

Anymore fabrications to support your false claims?

I can keep going with this if you like?
The armeggadon pattern basilisk is the only way to get enclosed cabin upgraded model.
Heck it's the only place to get rough riders (DKOK) now that the metal Attilan rough riders are no longer sold.

The fact is forgeworld is the only place for certain gw codex models and has been for some time.

Probably there is a bunch of old models they don't make however his point that FW doesn't make gw codex models is just flat out wrong. I don't play with forgeworld rules (mostly cause they are always outdated rules wise, rarely updated, quickly discontinued, and poor rules balanced) but I regularly buy forgeworld models as it's he only place that sells gw models that fit codex builds without going into a plasticard scratch building and greenstuff frenzy.

The North American sales region is more than just the US. The North American region was likely allocated around 8000 units, if not more. Keep in mind the North American sales region generates more revenue than the U.K. and Continental European regions combined. So it follows that GW would allocate accordingly. It's also worth noting GW has on occasion reallocated stock from Asia or Continental Europe to North America... which is how they sometimes find some more stock when something gets sold out and then sold out again.
