Regular Dakkanaut





I know they suck, but I built a Morkanaut (cool model) and want to use it in a tournament this weekend. Here is what I am thinking. Rip it apart. Thanks!

6 Meganobz in Trukk (3 standard, 3 w/ killsaws) - 300

Warboss, Mek, and Nobz embark in Morkanaut. Gunz and Lootas provide cover while Trukks charge ahead to deliver PKs. Gretchin and Stormboyz hold objectives, etc.

Hi, I'd suggest to drop some killsaws, one is enough, especially if you run a mid size unit of meganobz. 6 meganobz should run into a battlewagon, you can also split them into two units of three, each unit with its trukk.

Split the lootas into 4 units of 5, you have the available heavy support slots to do so.

KMK costs means that you can stikk a fourth ammo runt in that unit, it's very useful.

The tre lonesome nobz are useless, drop them. Stick the warboss to a boyz unit.

Boyz units cost 135 points not 131. I think with the spared points you should add another unit of trukk boyz and some solo deffkoptas.

And then I suggest to equip the morkanaut with the KFF, which is almost the only reason why people take the morkanaut instead of the gorkanaut. You'll have a 5+ invuln to the big guy and to the trukks too.

Are Boyz 135? My math and battlescribe say 131: 10 boys (60) + 1 boy (6) upgraded to Nob (10) + PK (25) + Trukk (30) = 131. Where am I missing 4 points. I don't want to be cheatin'.

Ok, that way it's 131, I thought you took 10 orks in those units but they were 11 including a nob. The typical trukk boyz loadout is:

10 boyz including a nob with bp and pk, trukk with ram, which is 135 points. Ram is highly suggested, the boss pole is more debated but IMHO it should be an autoinclude too.
