Just so you know. A Nemesis Greatsword is a specialist weapon. This means your Dreadknights only get 3 attacks (4 on a charge).

The second powerfist a dreadknight gets is also a specialist weapon meaning he still gets his extra attacks

The sword is also very shiny, master crafted and doesn't have unwieldy.

You only need one troop I think for NSF. I'd make that strike squad into another dread or interceptors.

Actually, if he can get 15 points anywhere. I would make that strike squad into a purifier squad in the same rhino. He can they rush to rhino forward get the squad out of the rhino and cleansing flame for more damage then the squad would do in the first place.

While I agree with that, one lone rhino driving down the field with a walking bomb inside of it, will be blasted off the board promptly. If he had other vehicles or distraction carnifex it might be able too.

If OP isn't against using a detachment I would say to dump the ADL and bring an inquistor with mystics to get bonus deployment rolls and 3 servo skulls you can place around the board.

I'm not familiar at all with Inquisition formations/armies, but I am very interested in your idea. Could you explain a little more?

Thanks in advance!

I have to be honest I am just not feeling the Ven dread. I love them but without a pod this guy really isn't doing much.

Paladins are meh as well. might just better off making them regular termies.

Some options I would consider:

Adding a second GK formation from the new Inq book that only needs a FA/troop and a NDK. I think the list would benefit from a 3rd NDK.

or you can also add a SM CAD and bring in some Cents and Draigo to gate around shooting stuff.

Inquisitor with skulls are a good option.

Paladins are weak
Strikes without rhinos are weak
MM dreads weak (could run a rifleman maybe instead)
get rid of the ADL too

There is a formation to bring just an inquisitor, the servo skulls get placed on the board in deployment and can be used for scatter free deepstrike. You have to use the inquisition codex, not imperial agents. The comms relay does nothing if you don't have someone back there sitting on it. You can bring mystics as Inq. Henchmen they give you +1 to your reserve rolls after succeeding with a psyker power, it's only like 25 points to get one.

I think most of the unit you take is ok-ok, not actucally bad for a GK standard, but not optimized.

I generally suggest a principle in which one hammer and one Psycannon / Incinerator per 5 men in the Terminator, Interceptor, and Strike Squads. While your Paladin take one hammer, and just 2 Psycannons, but not one type of special each, the rest composition in that squad are fine.

The Dreadnought is not strong, to be honest, it just lack the support (i.e. a Droppod) needed to make it reliably good.

The interceptors, 10men, 2 hammer and 2 psycannon, done, combat squad them to make them good.

The 2 Dreadknights, well, suggest to change the loading of one of them to: Psycannon, Heavy Incinerator, Greatsword and teleporter, give you more edge on dealing with cover relying hordes.

If you squeeze enough points from your current list to take a Domina Liber Daemonica on the Libby, you are more reliable in getting what you want, like Sanctury, Gate of Infinity, Cleansing Flame or even Vortex of Doom. More importantly, you can reroll the 1s when casting Sanctic power.

I think the Fortification is ok, in terms of taking the Comms relay to bring your deep strikers. If you have enough points, I might even consider switch the ADL with a Bastion. because it is more likely to help you survive, especially when facing some armies that can spam ignore cover AP2 (i.e. Tau )

Do the Acolytes have the same abilities as the mystics? Only reason I ask is because GW has Acolyte models but not Mystic models.

Thanks

I mean, you could easily take an acolyte and mod it into a mystic yourself if you can find the model, all it takes is extra bits and glue and paint. As long as the model is distinguished on the board and won't be confused or represented as something else.

You could also just use an imperial sanctioned psyker model as well.

Not a decent list. GK should ally with Marines, Skitarii or Mechanicus.
