Hello guys, this is the list I would like to play after the new book (I love the Slaughterpriest character) but I have a little doubt, are the Bood Tithe good at small games, are not better the old Chaos generic traits? (I'm looking at you Great Destroyer)

Aspiring Deathbringer (General)

Bloodsecrator

2x Slaughterpriest

5 x Blood Warriors
- Goreaxe & Gorefist

20 x Bloodletters

10 x Bloodreavers
- Meatripper Axes

10 x Bloodreavers
- Meatripper Axes

10 x Bloodreavers
- Meatripper Axes

Battalions
Gore Pilgrims

My Armies:
CSM (Death Guard/Apostles of Contagion)
Daemons of Nurgle (VII Legion of Nurgle)
R&H (Veterans of Vraks)

Hey mate. Just so you know, the Blood Warriors and Bloodletters both have sweet spots in terms of unit size that you're not hitting here. At 10 blokes, the Warriors can have a goreglaive, a sick weapon you stick on your champ that greatly increases their damage output as a unit. Bloodletters get +1 to hit at 20 or more, which increases their ability to deliver mortal wounds via Decapitating Blow, so you want these guys at 30-strong. If you can tweak it so you get one or both optimisations, awesome.

Nothing wrong at all with Great Destroyer if you can get lots of units into close combat, and it synergizes well with... everyone... when it goes off. I've found the most difficult thing is remembering to roll for it haha...

If I knew I was going against a shooty army, though, I think I would prefer to consider movement buffing traits...

Good to see a fellow Ozzy
Also I agree. The extra squad sizes make a massive difference, as the champ with the goreglaive will basically be dishing as much damage out as the rest of the unit and the 30 models in the bloodletters unit makes them incredible, especially with your Gore Pilgrim battalion. Giving one of the priests the prayer that grants a +1 To Hit bonus and casting that on the bloodletters at that many models = mass slaughter of your opponent's army to a crazy amount of mortal wounds, especially if you keep the Aspiring Deathbringer by them.

Note that to get access to the prayers in the battletome you will have to be Khorne allegiance, so generic Chaos goes out the window right there.

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

Sorry for my absence, but I was on holiday

Thank you for your suggestion, I'm agree with you, in fact I have do a new list

Allegiance: Khorne

Bloodthirster Of Insensate Rage
- General
- Trait: Devastating Blow
- Artefact: A'rgath the King of Blades

Bloodmaster, Herald of Khorne
- Artefact: The Crimson Crown

Valkia The Bloody

30 x Bloodletters
10 x Bloodletters
5 x Flesh Hounds

Battalions
Murderhost

The idea is simple: hit hard, hit fast with 2d6 bonus movement and other two flying units I put very much pressure to my opponent

Bloodletters mob is a respectable combat unit
The Bloodthrister is a damn killing machine (I hope)
Valkia is a distraction, fast and easy to hide

What do you think?
