Ok so, how does Psychic Power generation work with Tigurius in light of the 3 following rules:

1. His re-roll ability (Master of Prescience)
2. No duplicate powers when rolling for psychic powers.
3. Can only re-roll a die once.

So let's say i'm rolling for psychic powers and I get the following results (I realize you roll each power one at a time, but let's truncate/summarize the results for brevity):

4, 2, 4

Now normally I'd re-roll the 2nd "4" since it's a repeat. Let's say I re-roll and get a "6", but I don't like that power. Can I then use Tigurius's reroll ability to reroll it again?

I would say you could re-roll. They don't treat the "roll again" bit for generating a new power as a reroll, otherwise you would lose one of your powers if you rolled again and rolled the same number again. They have you roll until there's a new power. Tigurius gives you the choice to reroll that ability if you don't like it.

Thanks Doc.

That's the same conclusion I would have reached. It's the only that makes sense in light of preserving the "You can't have the same power twice" rule and actually having Tigurius's power be worth something.

Imagine if you were using the cards:

You wouldn't replace a card you drew when drawing your psychic powers, so there would be no chance of a repeat happening. A repeated dice result isn't really a re-roll, its just a null result which needs to be repeated (even still, I'm sturggling not to use the term re-roll ).

You have to generate a power before you can roll to replace it.

You cannot generate the same power twice.

The easiest way to get around an argument is to pluck cards at random rather than rolling a dice. You don't even have the option to select a power you've already generated. This is how his power is meant to work.
