Hey guys,
here's another one I theory-crafted as I make my way through all the factions I'm interested in/see potential in. Line of sight has been a huge detriment in the few games of 8th I've played so far. I've been running Wave Serpent spam and have faced Predator/Razorback spam as well as Necron Destroyer spam in which I couldn't finish off the unit do to LoS, hence why I think artillery will be match defining. The Shadowsword is just beast. It can(and more often than not delete a knight or equivalent in one turn of shooting with just it's main gun), while charging in and spamming 8D6 auto hits into CC. 9 S9 -2 D3 damage attacks in CC are no joke, either. So it's also my linebacker.

HQ:
- Company Commander -- 2 orders

Troops:
- Infantry Squad -- meat shield
- Infantry Squad -- ^

Elites:
- Tech-Priest Enginseer -- deploys in the Chimera and then spends his time behind the Shadowsword out of LoS, repairing it
- Sergeant Harker -- cheap dice mods for the parking lot
- Vindicare Assassin -- sits on top of the Voidshield Generator picking off the important buff characters
- Astropath -- some anti-psyker as well allowing the Shadowsword to benefit from a 2+/3++ save while under the Voidshield
Heavy Support:
- 3 Basilisks with Heavy Flamer -- the heavy fire support sits behind the Wyverns
- 3 Wyverns with Heavy Flamer -- the "shield" of the parking lot
Dedicated Transport:
-Chimera with double Heavy Flamers -- turns 4 drops into 1 and is a cheap and mobile platform for late game objective pushes
Super-Heavy Auxiliary Detachment:
- Shadowsword / Quad Sponsons with Lascannon and Twin Heavy Flamers each -- the heavy hitter
Fortification Network:
- Voidshield Generator -- deployed in such a way to fit the most models possible underneath it and as far back as possible, providing a sniper tower in a way for the Vindicare Assassins
