Well, that change really hurt the list a lot. Essentially losing over a Decimator in points due to the weapon bump.
Thankfully, it still sports FIVE Decimators. This list loses the Rapiers and Hellwrights because of points. It does, however, still have a lot going for it. Just less cheesy, I think. Much more thematically Tzeentch too. Magnus & Changeling still create the bubble for the Decimators, but they will have to rely on their wound-healing and re-rolls to not die as fast. The Hellwright would be nice, but they are tougher to fit in post-FAQ (rules and points).
On an up side, the list has another squad of Brimstones, because they ate up the last points. Plus, not a Herald. The list should still be averaging about what? 50-60 Mortal wound a turn between Smites and Soulburners? Not bad. Sure, hordes of over 100 models will be an issue. Likely Guard, Nid Hordes, and maybe Orks will pose issues (never thought I would ever type that assessment!). But it should make reasonable mincemeat out of more elite builds.
Thoughts? Ideas?
