Would you be opposed to someone using 30k TS models with 40k TS rules as long as the player clarifies which model is what?

Shouldn't be an issue, most of the units should have pretty clear equivalents, outside a few vehicles and the battle automata.

Vigo. Spain.

Legion 30k marines=Rubrics
Legion 30k Terminators = Scarab Ocults.

Theres not much more possibilities one can do really, I see no problems.

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

I plan to. Don't see any problems.

Making the chaos variant weapon arms for my contemptors is the current headacge.

Magnus is sadly too small to use as his daemon equivalent.
Brainstorming a scenic base to compensate.

I embrace any type of variation in the aesthetic of my games. I love seeing new or alternative armies.

What could I use to substitute exalted sorcerers?

I'm using Grey Knights. Just have to decide on their paint scheme.

You could use the 30K plastic Ahriman model and do several bits swap out, enough variance could easily get you 3 or 4 good looking models. Amon is also being released by Forgeworld, so there's another guy you could use. Sevrin Loth from Forgeworld would also make a cool conversion, since the armor pattern is very simular. You cald also use some probed legs from the Dark Angles line with some 30K thousand Sons conversion bits. If you do this, I would look on EBay for Exalted Sorcerer collars to add them in, this would help distinguish them more.

I'm using the Osiron as a regular contemptor.
