Almost every Games Workshop game currently available on Steam is on sale right now, with the exception of some, including the pre-order of Total War: Warhammer II.
Check it here: http://store.steampowered.com/sale/skulls/

Oh snap! I hear Man'O'War is turning out pretty fun?
Sadly Total Warhammer 2 doesnt seem to be on sale.
PS4 also has a summer sale and Blood Bowl 2 is also discounted, has anyone played it? Is it pretty fun fluff wise and to watch or is the gameplay boring or really repetitive?

Which of these are any good?
Total War is an excellent game.
Dawn of War 1 & 2 are both good, if quite a bit dated now.
The BloodBowl games are fun, as is Space Marine. There's a lot worse ways you can choose to waste some pennies, buy them and play for a weekend, they're a blast.
Quest is meh... it runs on my tablet, so it's a good way to kill some hours while I'm travelling, but not actually a good game.
I've heard good things about Gothic, Mordheim and Vermintide (though watching some play through of the last two, I don't think they're for me).
Can anyone recommend any of the others? Automatically Appended Next Post:
Damn, let them get the thing released before they start discounting it - it's not like it's Dawn of War 3!

Space Hulk: Deathwing, Blood Bowl, Space Marine are all great.
Talisman is great if you liked the board game.
Sanctus Reach seems to get lots of support and looks decent.
BFG has bad multi apparently and low dev support at the moment. I need to research Man o' War more.

Out of the games on sale I have:
Space Hulk
Space Hulk Ascension
Space Hulk Deathwing
Battlefleet Gothic Armada
Dawn of War 1 (GOTY, DC, SS, WA)
Dawn of War 2 (with all DLC, Chaos Rising, and Retribution)
Dawn of War 3
Kill Team
Space Marine
Space Wolf
Deathwatch
Now for which ones are worth it:
Space Hulk - For $4.99, if you haven't played it, it's worth it.
Space Hulk Ascension - Eh, get the original instead
Space Hulk Deathwing - Sweet Emperor yes.
Battlefleet Gothic Armada - This one is really good. For 11.99, this is a definite yes.
Dawn of War 1 (GOTY, DC, SS, WA) - All 4 DoW's for under $10?!?!?! Do it. Do it now.
Dawn of War 2 (with all DLC, Chaos Rising, and Retribution) - Also yes, very much worth the $14.
Dawn of War 3 - No. Just no. This game is heresy and needs to be purged. Not worth it at any price except FTP.
Kill Team - So much potential, so many bugs and they never fixed it. Even for $2.49, not worth it. Grab something else instead.
Space Marine - Yes, good fun. I don't play multiplayer so I just have the base game. For under $8, good fun. Short campaign though. Had so much potential and then they didn't do anything with it. Was ripe for expansion packs, shame they didn't make any. Still, grab it.
Space Wolf - Not on PC. Mobile platforms yes.
Deathwatch - Again, not on PC. If you have an iOS device, then get it.

I am only on Dakka because of the original DOW, and I like DOW II OK as well. So I had planned to grab it at some point.

DoW III is the result of when a game has three design briefs, one that's like the first game, one that's like the second game, and one that's like DotA2, and then tries to mash all three of them into one game. Then drain all the fun out of it. I'm very tempted to get Battlefleet Gothic because my love of all things naval combat (plus Imperial ships are awesome!). My only fear is that I've heard the interface is not just user unfriendly but it is downright hostile in its counter intuitiveness. Can anyone with decent experience with the game dispel (or even prove) that notion?

Is Armageddon any good? Final Liberation was one of my favorite PC games back in the day..
I've got a friend who swears by Mordheim... even though he has shown me numerous videos highlighting how bad the AI is.
I have the first Blood Bowl and it was pretty fun. From what I have seen the 2nd one is supposed to be better.
Looking at the video for Warhammer Quest.. it looks like a f2p not-Heroquest tablet game I got.. and played quite a bit.
After looking in my Steam Library.. I have Space Hulk.. When did I get it? I have no clue.. I vaguely recall playing the first mission or two.. but.. seriously.. why don't I remember this???
I liked DOW+all the expansions and tbh, I didn't mind DoW2.. though I do wish it had followed the same format as 1 and all that..
Vermintide.. HOLY CRAP! That looks.. AWESOME.. It reminded me immediately of King's Field from PS1.. I think this is going to be my big takeaway from this sale.
Deathwing looks pretty good. The camera bobbing up and down like that when you walk is kinda annoying. I would hope you can adjust it or they updated it since release.
Thanks for sharing this. My already gasping wallet wheezes a sickly salute to you..

Vermintide is a good game, though playing it with friends is a must, as the team AI is a bit dodgy and well, the difficulty of this game is a bit higher than say, Left 4 Dead, if that's your previous experience with these games. It has satisfying first person melee combat though.
If one is to get Warhammer Quest, I recommend getting the Deluxe version, which has all the DLC for a few coins more. The game is a somewhat poorly done mobile platform port, but still plays nicely and is a fun way to kill a few hours reliving the old game.
If looking for a FUN Space Hulk game, don't go with Space Hulk or Deathwing, but instead go with Space Hulk Ascension, which is a polished up version of Space Hulk and plays damn well. Deathwing is a bad shooter that looks good, oozes with atmosphere, but is in the end a disappointment to play. Not even the growls of Toby Longworth could save it for me.
As for Dawn of War 3.. right now it's still too damned expensive for what it offers. While Relic is wheeling out a lot of free content (new skirmish modes and gakloads of reworked / extra skins for your elites), it's too little, too late at this point, as most of the initial playerbase has moved on now. Biggest problems are the micro-management, bland singleplayer campaign (that takes way too long to get to the good stuff) and it predominately being geared towards competitive e-sports styled multiplayer. Yaaaaay...
Funny enough, they pulled the mediocre Warhammer 40,000 Carnage from the Steam store (unless it has been renamed), but kept the horrendously broken Kill Team on sale.

Would half-recommend Deathwatch if people are after a very cheap time killer. The game itself is actually pretty limited (it's a mobile game, they've prettied it up for PC but can only do so much to the content) but it does have a rather addictive card-collection system (where you get randoms after each campaign, and can save for extras) that will keep you playing!

I can't see Mordheim on there but its beautifully evocative, extremely hard to start with but really enjoyable. Sadly its not getting updates but had many hours of entertainment.
Battle Fleet Gothic again does capture much of the feel of the original game - need to have a go again.
Only had a few goes on Vermintide - its a bit frenetic!

MLaw, Armageddon isn't bad, it's pretty much Panzer General with a 40k skin. Has a few issues in as much as there are some units which are just mediocre in terms of 'why would I take this instead of...?', it's very possible to game the AI vis a vis spotting distance shenanigans and 'bait' units, and once you've played a scenario once you've played it forever, but, again, nothing that wasn't equally as true for the PG series back in the day.
I've sunk a lot of hours into it - best game ever, no. But reasonably enjoyable title that I keep going back to for a quick "turns and hexes" fix? Yes.

I've not booted it up in a while so they may have updated it in a wonky way, but I had zero problems with it during the multiplayer beta and around release time. It's not simple, but I wouldn't say it's counter-intuitive, there's just a lot there to get your head around. The game itself is brilliant IMO.
For the others:
Space Marine is great fun, but be warned: multiplayer is dead on PC. I haven't been able to find a game in well over a year. The campaign is absolutely worth 5 quid though.
Vermintide isn't just a great Warhammer game, it's a great game. Having a group is ideal since as usual with this type of game the AI is a bit dim and randoms will shout at you if you don't know every single moment of each mission like the back of your hand and blame you if the team fails, but if you're a big WHF fan I can attest that putting up with the AI is worth it.
Blood Bowl II, like all incarnations of the game, is made for masochists. If you like watching your team's best player fluffing a roll-anything-but-1 game-winning Go For It attempt with no rerolls left, flipping over backwards and breaking their own neck killing them outright, you'll love Blood Bowl II
Mordheim is great if you like multiplayer tactics games, I've enjoyed it when playing on a pal's machine and the visuals and atmosphere are amazing, but I can't speak to the campaign - has anyone played that?
The first two Dawn of Wars are great obviously, for different reasons.
Most of the rest seem like shovelware to me TBH, I've not played them.
TW: WH's DLC is still a bit ridiculous though even on sale; 40 quid for all of it, I paid less than that for the game. As with all the TW games - wait. Hopefully by the next Steam Summer Sale they'll let the DLC price dip to more palatable levels.

The campaign missions are definitely interesting and tough - often very tough (*) - especially since there is no save and re-load function. you get some interesting scenarios and a cool extra character - proceeding nicely through the vampire one
As can be the normal games especially if you play anything other than normal!

I could not find a tutorial in the game which would be massively handy?

I have spent far too long playing Mordheim. I'm at ~100 missions in as mercenaries, and still don't have one of each type at level 10.
Taking any mission at Brutal level is (no.. you don't say!) brutal, and I avoid them where I can.
The story missions break up the stream of random missions nicely.

They made several DLC expansions for it(Horde mode, Chaos Horde mode, Dreadnoughts), just not a Single Player expansion.
