...When I'm building a Thousand Sons army and already have 3 Regular Terminator Squads and a squad of Cataphractii Terminators, and might get myself some Sehkmets just because they look cool.

Yes. Yes you should. Great models, with a realistic momentum to them.

Can't really top that. The only other thing I'll say is get a Caestus to fly them around in!

The plastics or the two resin options? All are great models but different kits are easier to model.

Mostly trying to decide whether to get the full Burning of Prospero box or just the components.

I don't need the special SW character, one of the Tac Squads, and not sure I want the Sisters of Silence. At the very least, I need Ahriman, Custodes, and two Tac Squads. I will also add the Terminators to that second list. Now I need to paint up one of my Calth Marines and see if I prefer the Mk IV armor over the Mk III.

The full box is a massive discount on the total sets, especially if you buy from a discount retailer. The excess can be ebayed off or saved for a future project.
A quick calculation shows that 2 tacs and the custodes come to the same total cost as the prosperos box in GBP.

There's eBay deals as well; I've got some stuff in my watch list that bring the price pretty low. ( Although another part of the decision is whether or not I want to buy it from my FLGS as they're the only store in a 60 mile radius with a gaming area)

You can always get big box and do what I did which was convert some spare into heavy weapons, sternguard and other specakists.

30k wise, buy a fw say auto cannon, missile launcher etc kit, or buy extra and make a support sqaid.

Spare bodies can be good.
For a small extra forgeorld you could have tac, a 10 man heavy and 10 man plasma gunner team

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.
