So I haven't played AoS since it was first released and want to get back into it...(yay me! ) I've decided to play Khorne Bloodbound now and just want to clear something up before I get stupid deep into buying minis.

I have Korghos Khul from the box set, but when I was first playing and the General's Handbook came out, he was just listed as a Mighty Lord of Khorne. Now he's actually a named character and that makes him unique I suppose? Does this now overrule the original release of the Mighty Lord of Khorne?

My original thought was to run more than one of these units since his weapon is wildly effective, but I'm guessing this has been nixed.

You can run 2 of them its just that kul has some extra rules on his own sheet and his own cost, so a different paint job to differentiate them and you shouod be good to go.

Korghos Khul and a Mighty Lord of Khorne are two separate warscrolls that both use the same miniature and are both valid. You can only have one Korghos Khul, but you can have multiple Mighty Lords of Khorne. So...

2 Khuls = No
1 Khul & 1 normal Mighty Lord = Yes
2 Mighty Lords = Yes

Put simply: Korghos Khul is a Mighty Lord of Khorne, but not all Mighty Lords of Khorne are Korghos Khul.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

Got it....So do you think the Warscroll for the Mighty Lord of Khorne will be taken out or replaced when the new General's Handbook 2017 comes out?

No chance. The Khorgos warscroll was simply an added bit to represent his importance in the story (and the increase in power he received over the course of events) it's specifically meant to be a unique version of the regular one, not a replacement.

Here's a good question, what's his point value? Is it the same as a mighty lord?

I remember him and Vandus getting their own costs but I might just be mixing it up with PPC. I think there is a separate cost out there though, and most assuredly using the cost for a regular version would not be appropriate.
