Leviathan Dreadnoughts have the "Helbrute" Keyword (and thus are Affected by Legion Traits)
Because Emperors Children Leviathan Dreadnoughts sound REALLY Nasty (ALWAYS Attacking first with S16 -4 4 damage Drills that hit on 2+)
Alpha Legion ones are Tougher, as they have a -1 to hit (12"+) Modifier, meaning heavy weapons (which are usually in the backline) are less effective against them
I think the best bet with leviathans is to run them with dakka and use fire frenzy. We have other options for high power melee, and it's shot output when shooting twice is unlike anything else that we have.

In his defense you know someone is going to argue they don't get those rules because they aren't in the codex. They will get the points changes for options and nothing else is what someone WILL argue at some point. GW should have just copy/pasted and edited the points costs and keywords as needed. Would have taken at most 30 seconds if the person is a really slow typer. It isn't like the old days with the old printing presses. The whole process would probably added an extra hour of formating for the paper version. Doubt much longer than that for digital versions. Especially with all the errors and bugs in the digital codicies. I like how Guiliman became a flyer...
I was just making a joke I was assuming his sardonic response was a way of saying "not funny dude".

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.
When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do. |

Nurgle Alpha Legion gets -2 hit modifier. Which makes you effectively immune to a lot of bad BS units and factions.
Turns even Space Marines into Conscripts.

Nah
Melee>Dakka
You have good Chest Dakka, the Arms have Melta guns, plus you're making the 2+ WS and 4 attacks go to waste

Only if you have a Sorcerer or Prince nearby successfully casting the Nurgle power each turn.

Question?
if the new horror data sheet replaces the index data sheet. does the new chaos codex data sheet for the daemon prince replace the chaos daemon, daemon prince? If I take a choas daemon, daemon prince. Do I get to pay the reduced points for the weapons?
