I've been a Cult of Speed player since I started playing Orks back in 2001 and although I recognize they are not in the meta right now I'm bound and determined to make Cult of Speed viable in 8th edition. I will start play testing next week after I get some input on this list.

Kill tank - MANZ
Battle Wagon- Ghaz, Mad Dok, Nob w/Waagh Banner, 16 boyz (Nob with PK)
Bikes in the middle of the two Wagons to provide the bubble for the KFF/Zhadsnark
2 more truks with 12 boyz (nobz with PKs) to add extra targets
I'm relying on my Battle Wagons surviving at least one round of shooting while under the KFF.
Outside of my low model count, what are the other issues this list is going to run into?

You have only a few drops, which is good. I appreciate the effort, I love speed freaks too. List doesn't look too bad overall, I'd only suggest a few changings.
Drop the nob bikers, a 3 man unit is too fragile and the klaw doesn't worth it. I'd cut the big mek's p.klaw too, he shouldn't assault anything in the entire game, but if you have some spared points it's ok, a killsaw is even better. If you really want the bikes just bring a unit of 6 regular warbikers, eventually with a big choppa for the nob.
The waaagh banner has better synergy with the meganobz since the boyz+ghaz+mad dok are already very good while the manz will miss a lot of hits, and their hits are S10 AP-3 D3 damage. Stick 2-3 additional pairs of killsaws in there.
You don't have much shooting and only two units can be effective in close combat, you'll struggle against hordes and maybe even against high armored multiwounds models since you only have one big gun and a couple of rokkits other than p.klaws but it's fine, orks should aim to assault everytime.
A trukk of bustas could be handy but it's not easy to spare the required points. Maybe cutting the bikes, the big mek's p.klaw and the rokkits/balls upgrades in the boyz trukks should be enough to field 2x5 tankbustas plus 2 bomb squigs in a trukk. Or maybe just take a mid sized unit of bikers.
I think zhad should cost 122 points in total, you probably forgot the 2 big shootas.

I concur with Blackie
The list has some issues but would be awesome to see all those particular models painting on the table.
Battlescribe has incorrect value for Zhadsnark. It doesnt count his 2x big shootas

Meka Dread would be faster out of the blocks than any of those models. Move + SupaCharger move = 16". Plus an avg 7" charge is a potential first turn charge.
Teleporting Boyblob is also faster.
The Rippa aint what he used to be... reconsider.
BigMek on bike is ok. PK.. not so good...
Truks and wagons are equally fast (slow)
Your slugga boys will be doing NOTHING for two to three rounds. Keep them in open topped wagonz and give them shootas. Watch things melt when 40 shots rain down from each wagon.
You have no reliable antivehicle. A 3 knight list would win vs this list even if they only spent 1500pts.
Consider kombiburnas on meganobz in OT wagon.
Bikerboyz superior to nob bikerz
Stormboyz are under costed and perform very well.
A KoS without Dakka Jets, Stormboyz or fastest ground unit (meka dread)... not sure if serious about Speed.

Interesting point about the meka-dread, though it's only fastest on one turn in the whole game, and you would need to sacrifice having an invulnerable 5++ save... I would think the save would be more useful in the long run. Especially as the Mega-Charga has a 1 in 6 chance of failing anyway, making it unusable for the whole game and leaving the fread on the starting blocks for a whole turn.

Okay then, I recognize my list creation skills may have atrophied a bit after taking an edition off from the game. Back to the drawing board then.

I've seen mention of doing MSU within the same truk. What is the advantage of two smaller busta units in the same truk versus one larger one considering that every unit can split fire now?
The list has some issues but would be awesome to see all those particular models painting on the table.
*thanks* I was perhaps a little too nostalgic about my old models and how I used to run them but I think it is time to overhaul my tactics to try and win some games as well

Points made and understood. So I guess that all being said, how would you recommend putting together a TAC list doktor_g? Would you recommend big squads of Stormboyz or MSU? How many jets would you run? I do want to be competitive so any advice is appreciated...

Straight off the bat I would lose the meganobz. For their points their survivability is abysmal. Especially when you can get a big choppa wielding nob unit at twice the size for less points (my mental maths may be off). You'll get far more out of the nobz and with more models you can take more hits.
Da Rippa is just not worth taking this edition in my opinion. He just doesn't seem to throw out the damage a bog standard warboss can. And a warboss would let you get out of the vehicles 3', move 5' and then run d6 before assaulting...that extra movement is worth it.
I'm surprised at only one unit of bikers.Given this a speedfreaks list I expected at least 2!
How sold are you on the kill tank? For the points you;ve pumped into it you're practically at a kitted out gorkanaut. Switch for the Gorka, stick the KFF mek inside and the dok inside and you're measuring the FNP and 5++ saves from the Gork model, giving you a much larger bubble.
Ghaz. I get that he's a beast, but he's also very slow. I'd advocate dropping him for another warboss. Maybe stick both bosses on bikles and have them moving up and around the board to give you advance and charge across your units...
