Subject: [2000] - Imperial Guard - Well equipped Infantry - No vehicles, no artillery, no conscripts, no commissary.
The list is made of a Brigade + Spearhead. Since it's a Brigade it is made up of multiple regiments like a real brigade would be (2 in this case). Regular Guard and Elysians. Although the Elysian FAQ does not prohibit Command squads to 1 per Company/Platoon leader, I am imposing that restriction myself as it is an obvious oversight.
So meet the 110th Cydonians and the 95th Elysians:

Obviously all the elements of the 95th Elysians drop in where needed. The 11 Heavy Weapons Squads all have 2 Heavy Bolters to take cheaper casualties whilst not being chaff themselves in this edition. 6 well armed Infantry squads form the backbone of the starting force. 8 orders a turn and 2 Officers of the fleet to make the Elysians more accurate. The Rough Riders provide mobility and even more firepower.
17 Lascannons, 10 Melta Guns, 30 Plasma guns, 15 Plasma pistols, 22 Heavy Bolters, lots of lasguns and a bolt pistol. Should be enough firepower to deal with almost all comers right?

This is a lot of models so you might need those vox casters in order to utilize those commanders. Still, I wonder if it wouldn't be better to just buy more commanders instead.

Yep, there is a Vox in each Infantry squad and the Elysians would come down with their Commanders and so be in range of orders.
I had contemplated more Elysian Commanders and making the HWSs Elysian but mathmatically more shots will hit with those points being spent on more guns. There is also the plus side of more wounds on the table with more guns.

Yeah that's a lot of bodies.
Comments:
1. If you're buying voxes anyway, you can just bring platoon commanders once you meet your minimum HQ requirements. You could probably fit in another detachment that way for some extra CPs. Two platoon commanders is the same as a company commander with two voxes, and offers more wounds and an extra slot for a plasma pistol or boltgun.
2. You have no pskers, you should get some astropaths at a minimum, or else you're free for the enemy to smite the crud out of you.
3. So, why are you bringing officers of the fleet? You have no fleet assets.
4. You might enjoy switching out one of the HB in each squad for a mortar, for some nice no LOS anti-horde. And they're even cheaper chaff than the HB.

Yeh platoon Commanders may be cheaper, unfortunately I've used up all 10 Elites slots available.
I was thinking that the bodies are so cheap that a smite spam simply won't be doing enough wounds to be effective.
The Officers of The Fleet are Elysians, they allow all other Elysians to reroll to hit rolls of 1 on any nominated target.
Good call on the Mortars!

You have a really good list! I see much winning in your future.
Are you going to play aggressive? Vets are so expensive and plasma/melta have such a short range. If you're aggressive I imagine it'll work, but those vets will be easy to kill targets. I like vets, but I use mine as snipers to kill snipers and characters; that's all mine are for, staying back and using the long range better BS as long as possible before they get chopped up.
Let us know how you do in battle! I'm really curious how the rough riders work out.

Vets are Elysians, they drop in already in range for meltas and half range for plasmas (btw, plasma >> melta)
