New project, Ynnari Eldar Corsairs. I really like the new Ynnari faction, the back story to establish the new faction was very nice. Since Yvraine was also a pirate in her story I decided to build a core force of corsair from the Void Dragon faction. Hopefully over next months you will se it grow.

So without further blah blah...

Lasblaster Corsair with jump packs, the mini in the middle is armed with a Dark Eldar Blaster. I am planning squads, each 5 member strong. One squad Shardcarbines and Blaster, next two Lasblaster and Shuriken Cannon. And since I just loved the corsair jetbikes from FW I also finished one with a Dissonance cannon.

For the 1st time since early 2000 I used my airbrush again to create the dragon scales on the bike canopy. I used Anarchy HS stencils, just watch one of their YouTube videos to see how it is done, I was totally amazed how well it worked.

Cool idea, and I like the helmets for the most part. I'm doing a side bunch of old Eldar pirates for use alongside my Craftworld forces as well.

Hey dude!!! love the models, that weapon is the shredder thought if i am not mistaken (thought i could).

Personally not a fan of the lasblasters as in game weapon but they look cool enough on models.

just cut the weapon out. paint the other one then splice them together.

NO WAY, I will paint a completely new model for sure!

The jetbikes look good on that base. Is that an official sice?

No idea, are there even "official" sizes anymore???
The base is GW however...

I do love the corsair range, and they look great. Look forward to watching the collection grow.

1st squad finished. The Blaster Corsair will eventually be replaced by a Shuriken Cannon Corsair.
The leader is a mixture of plastic Guardian parts, a Drukhari head and FW Corsair parts. Worked pretty well for me.

Yep, very cool. Very corsair without going full silliness that is Dark Eldar.

Next mini - the Yncarne. Every Ynnari army needs one, or?

Great work. Still don't care too much for the model, but you've received a fantastic job on the paint. Love seeing a different take on the colours!

LOL Elbows, honestly my thoughts exactly when I first saw the mini.
As said on LAM: I bought the box because of the other two characters. Wink
For the Yncarne I thought long and hard how to remove the flames, but since they are more or less an integral part of the mini I gave up end settled instead for a cool colour scheme.

The current trend in minis to add flames, smoke etc is still NOT my thing ...
(Maybe I get really old...)

That's a very cool take on the Yncarne.

Really cool idea and execution on these guys! Love the look of the Yncarne, it has a sort of autumnal elemental look to it. Keep up the good work!
