Straight from the holy armouries of the Blood Ravens comes one of their rarest and most precious relics: a pre-heresy Land Raider Achilles. This vehicle (which was always owned by the Blood Ravens chapter and definitely was at no point the property of any other) is only deployed when breaking the hardest sieges.
Spoiler:

I used a stencil from Fallout Hobbies to do the hex pattern, which represents the Ferromantic Invulnerability. The rest is just a totally stock Land Raider Achilles.

The engine section could be better but otherwise I think it came out pretty good.

Great work. The stencil helps to break up the large areas of red.

The paintwork is really good - the rotary weapon on the other hand is awful (I know it's the kit or whatever). The fascination with those needs to end...in all miniature wargaming. It's way too ridiculous.

I've gotta say: I LOVE the painted over Ultramarines symbols. So subtle, so perfect.

If I was really smart I would have ordered some of these, since the Achilles lore states that Thousand Sons had some... but, oh well.

I have 3 more Land Raiders in the queue, so it still could happen.

Thanks. I also used the same stencils for a Necron Flyer and liked them there too.

They're flexible, sticky stencils from Fallout Hobbies - super easy to use, mostly reusable (in my house they pick up dust really fast). Not expensive, and it's a pretty good gimmick for making a poor painter like myself look pretty good. They have all sorts of camo patterns, angel wings, and so on.

Very nice, the only critique I have is the red looks a bit flat without a wash and edge highlights
