While wraithlords might not be the most "competitive" choice, when compared to some of the stuff the filthy imperials can put on the table, they're not bad units. In fact, they're probably better now than they have ever been. 8th seems to be the time for walkers to shine, at least compared to how they were before.
3 lords and a squad of wraithguard would make for a nasty amount of high toughness units for the enemy to deal with.
I'd still say a second wave serpent is a good idea. It's hardly spam, and they're your only transport option. You'd then be able to fill them both with wraithguard and have them push towards the enemy.
Alternatively, if you want to footslog the guard with the lords, then you could put the fire dragons in the serpent...but with only one serpent on the table the enemy will focus on it first turn, as the lords/guard wont reach the enemy until at least turn 2 or 3.
You also have no troops, and you really do need them to stop your enemy from deepstriking plasma scions or something behind your wraithlords and destroying them. A couple of minimum-sized guardian squads at least.
I'd say your best option for the next purchases you make would be:
A squad of guardians
A second wave serpent

My fix chooses are wraith guard on wave, a crimson hunter as antitank and a squad of shining spears... Than lately I dropped the lord to go for a battalion, playing at least one big unit of 20 guardians, we suffer too much alpha strike and they are perfect to build up a nice non deep strike bubble on turn one and with two heavy weapons and the stratagem that let you pass automatically the morale are a nice choice.... Even a single walker with shuriken cannons who can charge the first turn is pretty nice

I guess this all depends on how competitive your meta is.
In my eyes, you take the WG on foot with Scythes (because you can advance and still fire them, they're just as strong on overwatch as normal shooting so either your opponent takes bad charges or gets shredded and you still get to fall back and shoot) alongside the WL equipped with shuricannons and a glaive (the only non-heavy weapons) then you run the Farseer as a Spiritseer to give them the bonus to hit and Conceal/Reveal from runes of battle.
Then you take the Fire Dragons and Yriel if you want him in the Wave Serpent, give it bright lances and the move-and-shoot upgrade, take the Night Spinner, the Fire Prism, and the Striking Scorps with Karandras for some assault pressure, and you've got a solid elite eldar list. You should be able to get a heavy detachment and an elite detachment for 5CPs.
In the meta where I play, this would have pretty much no trouble. In a meta that regularly runs tourney-level lists, yeah, you'd get slapped around most likely. but wraiths running and gunning with scythes put pressure on faster than an opponent might think, and you're presenting a very solid front that's highly resistant to any anti-infantry fire. The only thing I'd say about the list is you've got relatively few street sweepers available, so I would consider running the Fire Prism as a second Night Spinner since your anti tank is so solidly stacked already. You might consider a squad of swooping hawks to help out with anti-horde duty.

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"
"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"
"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"
"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!" |

I like what you have, similar to mine. Are any of the wraithguard with Axe and shield? Guard on foot supported by 3 wraithlords, Yriel and Farseer is a great start. Fortune is great on Guard.
Dragons in serpent and scorpions to infiltrate.
Wouldn't bother with either Phoenix lord. Add the 2 vehicles, run as Spearhead. What loadouts are your guard, wraithlords and serpent?

Is the plan for this to footslog the wraithguard with the wraitlords?

They are pretty durable, especially with Fortune on them, but I would prefer the axe/shield on one unit for better protection. I did forget to add the Scorpions though. I use 3x WG units but 2 are in serpents (axe shield on foot)
