Yep. They had a load of requests from backers wanting to add more items so was easier in the end just to open it for everyone for a couple more weeks.

Received my full maiden pledge it is absolutely amazing I'm wondering has anybody got any scale sots with the models against othr 15mm companies?

You've got your wave 2?

Ooh. Maybe mine will turn up this week, then!

Not that I've managed to play a game with my wave 1 stuff, yet, but... castle!

Dragon was wave one so most of us have had it for a month or so now wave 2 with the big castle is starting to be delivered now.

As cool as the castle was I am eagerly anticipating all the craziness in that Apocalypse box.

I'm hoping we see a new expansion come September with just as many wild units in it.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Also most of the Apocalypse stuff will work in 28mm as well!

I'm looking forward to the 1.5 KS.

Mostly for a hardback copy of fixed scenarios and whatever storage box that they come up with; it has to be the biggest nightmare of a game when it comes to organisation of storage.

The expansion is a bit of a "we'll see" thing for me. I've got enough content to last me for the rest of my natural life, but that thinking didn't seem to stop me when the pledge manager opened...

I’m looking forward to the digital system Kickstarter that is meant to be launching in September that provides a digital game master to turn the board game into a solo or competitive RPG.

(And 1.5 where I plan to pick up the new unit expansions as well)

Glad to see they’re doing a 1.5 ed KS. I passed on this the first time, but won’t again.

The Apocalypse arrived at my home today.

Leviathan is big, as is to be expected. Not Satan big, but big nonetheless.

Of note is that the Four Horsemen are actually sized around 28mm as opposed to 15mm! Everything else in the box is at 15mm too.

I'm still waiting for my wave 2 stuff to arrive.

Siege battles are perhaps the most anticipated thing for me, but the Apoc stuff is great also. Cannot wait to field the four horsemen of the apocalypse (War, Pestilence, Famine and No Deal Brexit) in the game!

I'm looking forward on the Teutonic Knights expansion kickstarter.

I have the results of the last chamber: You are a horrible person.
That's what it says: A horrible person...
We weren't even testing for that.

Hey there, has anyone seen a regional forum or player finder for this game? I got my kickstarter and it seems like an excellent game but I can't find anyone in my area (San Francisco Bay Region) who is interested.

Only recently seen/heard about this and looks very interesting, what’s the plans for a retail release on this game.

Retail was planned for the autumn but has been pushed back in favour of a version 1.5 Kickstarter instead that will be coming soon with the original Kickstarter contents with updates rules and a new expansion (the original Kickstarter is missing the “super exclusives” which is a shame but they had a poll and some backers were not happy with them being made available again).

There is also some sort of app using solo / co-op spin off coming to Kickstarter in next month or so which may also come with new models.

Time of Legends: Destinies

The Kickstarter page is up for preview.

It's a standalone game using tiles, cards, minis and an app. Semi co-op and the app does cool things like scan QR codes on the cards. The minis will get rules for use in JoA.

Looks like Mythic are going to be helping out/doing the minis, which is probably why it's running at the same time as JoA 1.5 - might as well get the factories doing both at once. Bit of a shame with the timing, because it looks interesting, but my money's going to get taken up with 1.5 and the Battletech pledge manager.

Thanks for the link, I hadn’t realised a preview page was up! Very reasonably priced and rules for the original JoA game are a big bonus! (Just a shame we can’t use our original monsters but maybe they will release a crossover card pack for the Destinies)

My wife and I tried playing JoA a couple of times but the rules are not our cup of tea. Anyone else had trouble understanding them?

On the plus side, Destinies has a reasonable buy in. Doesn't seem like it'll have piles of models but it'll at least have another big one, plus the rules for it in JoA.

I tried deciphering the rules. I had a hard time too. Worst case it all gets cobbled together into a ramshackle 15mm fantasy sandbox skirmish game.

Best case they get the rules deciphered and smooth things out with 1.5. I really like the models I've got. I'm sure I can get a lot of use out of them. It'll be interesting to see what's on offer with both these upcoming campaigns.

I'd really like something to help with the storage of the game too. It's just... massive. The amount and size of the boxes. It's a lot to take in!

After some shipping shenanigans I have finally received both my wave 1 and 2 stuff, and the miniatures are great. Hopefully there will be miniature only pledges in the next KS, as I want more of them but cant be bothered with more cards/dice/etc...

Also, is there any interest in the non-miniature stuff? Is it useful for people playing the actual game to have duplicates or should I just throw it all out?

Well, it's a few days to go and the KS preview is doing the rounds.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1162110258/604599168?ref=xzrvvo&token=bb87e560&fbclid=IwAR0s1LNKbcM9VBNGcloLaLsLMescvPp6NzFXN9GSIrj8g1K8J1ITSxrsnj8

I'm glad to see that there's a pledge level for the Storage Box and new expansion (including the new stretch goals). I'm also glad that the storage box isn't for the minis, being as I've acquired inserts for them already.

What kind of inserts would even be usable?

Honestly that's my biggest hangup with the game- just finding a place to put it all!

At least with sprawling "lifestyle" games like Shadows of Brimstone, the models are large and varied enough I can get a bunch of cheap containers and store everything by Otherworld.
Since there are so many boxes as well I can divvy up all the various card decksssss, tokens, and specific tile sets amongst them. Plus the boxes are much smaller.

Here I have multiple expansion boxes that are the size (if not larger) of a lot of CMON core games!

I like what I see with the Teutonic pledge. Hopefully more light will be shed on the storage box (along with some hopefully interesting stretch goals).

The storage box doesn't store the minis? That's crazy. It is the size of one of the biggest boxes, but is doing the job of a few deck boxes and a plano container? What's the point?

It’s weird that it doesn’t seem to store the miniatures as they were asking if people have glued into bases or not to try and work our what storage solution would be best.

It’s worth posting out that the spin off game Time of Legends: Destinies is also live on Kickstarter -

I've got some laser cut inserts for the Wave 1 minis so far.

It doesn't store the large or huge models, terrain or the castle (except for the Tarrasque), but it gets everything else, based or unbased as appropriate into some pretty secure, labelled, stackable trays that fit into the core box.

The gentleman on Facebook that did them is working on a similar thing for Wave 2 that will fit in the Reliquary box.

The only thing that I'll need to get my storage bang on is a separate box that will store tiles, cards and tokens. From the description of the new storage box, it looks like I'm in luck.

So, I think that I'll get JoA into 3 large boxes.

Except for the large creatures, buildings, terrain elements, castle...

Bugger...
