Hello! Just return from tournament and it was fun!
Tournament Rule -
Must be Battle-forged, No Lord of War allow, all troop count as have a objective sec and same house rule as dawn of war/
GW campaign.
Match 1 vs Death Guard

The objective marker is on A,B,C and D.
My opposition won roll off and pick {B} side / deployment first. He place 3 ten men squad of plague marine troop with single heavy Bolter each and a lord of contagion as warlord in building {1} while Nurgle Daemon Prince are on bottom of {1} building within reach of {3} where he place another ten men plague marine with 3 heavy Bolter on top of the building.
He place another ten men plague marine squad at {4} gap between building and edge.
I place Broodlord,Old One Eye, two Carnifex under Malanthrope’s shrouding cloud on {2}
But! Because I finish deployed before him so I go first instead. He fail to seize the initiative.
Trygon pop up at {5} within range of {4} troop and I place genestealer Brood closer to {3} while still under 6” of Trygon. I advance all of my unit forward toward to {3} while Broodlord advance toward to {A} and keep out of line of sight.
Broodlord fail casting the psyker and Trygon fail to hit with bio-pulse.
Trygon and Genestealer successful charge, thank to Nurgle Daemon Prince re-rollable on 1 and killed 6 of my Genestealer in overwatch.
Trygon overkilled 6 plague marine with lot of wounds cancelled rolls. ( mosty pass but one fail per model is good enough )
I use talons on Genestealer for re-rollable on 1 and I successful handful of wound dices and killed 7 of plague marines while 3 of heavy Bolter on top of building is safe from reach.
Both Plague marine squad had fail moral test and wipe out, I gain first blood.
His turn, he fire all of their squad on {1} at my Genestealer, now dropped to 4 left... his Nurgle Daemon charge into my Genestealer to finish it off and he success done that.
My turn 2.
I advance my Broodlord into {1} and I move all of my unit closer to their armies, Trygon had to move around back of {4} building toward to where I deployed Genestealer.
Broodlord fail casting the psyker and Trygon fail to hit with bio-pulse.
Trygon fail to charge at Nurgle Daemon, but one of Carnifex success charge at the Nurgle Daemon... Fail to moral wound with living ramming. Old one eye and Malanthrope was too far due to poor advance roll from turn 1.
Another Carnifex successful charge at troop camping in {1} with no wound from overwatch, and fail living ramming roll while Broodlord joined Carnifex into troop.
Both Broodlord and Carnifex wipe out ten men plague marines, another Carnifex fail to wound Nurgle Daemon.... got lot of wounds toward to my Fex.
His turn. He fail to target my Broodlord so he return fire to my Carnifex instead. Badly wounds..
He charge his warlord into my Fex...
And killed my Fex.
His Nurgle Daemon finally finish off my another Fex.
My turn 3.
I pop up my Ripper Swarm at {A} & {D} and move Trygon, Malanthrope and Old One Eye toward to Nurgle Daemon..
Broodlord fail casting the psyker and Trygon fail to hit with bio-pulse.
I succeed all charged, Broodlord into his warlord, Old One Eye and Trygon into Nurgle Daemon. ( success moral wound )
Broodlord stain his warlord ( yay )
Old One Eye and Trygon got handful of wound dice but bloodily Nurgle Daemon cancelled wounds.. now only one wound left on Nurgle Daemon.. Old one eye got down to half.
His turn...
He move his troop toward {A} and another troop toward to {B}
Both target and killed my Malanthrope..
We both fail to wound eachother, Nurgle daemon fail to wound any of my units.
My turn 4..
Broodlord fail casting the psyker..
I charge my Broodlord into troop at {A} and hurt a lot from the overwatch.
With Trygon I finally killed his Nurgle Daemon.
His plague marine success lot of moral cancelled from Broodlord Attack... and cause lot of wound on Broodlord...
His turn...
He advance his troop to reach {B} and He finally finish off my Broodlord and tick Stain the Warlord...
My turn 5....
I move Trygon and Old One Eye toward to closer {B} and charge the troop.. stain them all and move 3” to {B} and claim it. My Ripple swarm had to charge into troop at {A}.... fail to claim it because they are dead meat.
Trygon fail to hit with bio-pulse.
I won maximum 8 pts with linebreaker, claim 2 objective and stain the warlord.
Mistake learned -
I should have place Ripper Swarm on {C} instead of {A}... and place Trygon and Genestealer at {A} instead and attack those camping troops while Carnifex advance toward to {D}... Trygon.... oh come on! What wrong with bio-pulse...
Match 2 vs Death Guard ( not another Death Guard!!!)
My opposition won roll off and pick {C} side / deployment first. ( sigh )
He deployment Rhino, two ten men. Plague Marine squad,Typhus the Plague god and plaguecaster at {1} in a line formation. And plague Dreadnough with another ten men plague marines at {3}
I place Broodlord,Old One Eye, two Carnifex under Malanthrope’s shrouding cloud on {2} I finish deployed before him so I go first instead. He fail to seize the initiative... yay
My turn 1.
I place my Trygon and their Genestealer front of rhino and one of plague marine... Again, Advance all of my unit toward to {1} while two of Carnifex and Old One Eye offset toward to {3}
Quite good advance roll for Broodlord and Malanthrope this time. Psyker has been deny..
Trygon fail to hit with bio-pulse.
I fail charged Trygon against rhino and success charged Genestealer against plague marines.. and wipe them out again with no wound toward to my Brood. Gain first blood.
His turn.
He move his dreadnought toward my Carnifex broods and {3} plague marine toward {D}, Rhino move toward my genestealer....
His psyker bluff his plague marines and shoot at my Broodlord and Malanthrope but fail to hit. Rhino fail to hit my Genestealer.. his dreadnough and plague marine fail to wound my Fex broods with good number of save roll.
He fail to charges his dreadnought,
He charged and ramming his Rhino at my genestealer but nothing harmful and I return handful of render hits. His Rhino now down to 4 wound left.
My turn 2
I move Carnifex closer to dreadnought and move Trygon and Malanthrope toward to his plague god while Broodlord move past Genestealer to keep within 6” for aura active.
Broodlord fail casting the psyker and Trygon fail to hit with bio-pulse.
I charged all 3 Fex to dreadnought and all passed for living ramming, I charge Broodlord, Trygon and Malanthrope to his plague god...
Plaguecaster pile in the fight and I put handful of wounds and he save lot of the save roll but few got through.. I poorly roll for
D6 damages and he pass lot of cancelled wound and just lose few wounds.. nothing in return.
Carnifex broods overkilled the dreadnought and Genestealer overkilled the Rhino with Broodlord aura.
Malanthrope fail his Toxic Miasma.
His turn.
He finally reach {D} with his plague marine, plaguecaster bluff his nearest plague marine and shooting into my Carnifex Brood... I save lots of save roll. Plaguecaster use spell that kill handful of Genestealer and plague marine shooting at Genestealer which now is 4 left..
His warlord now dropped to 3 wound by Trygon 6x3/4 wounds with lot of passed cancelled wounds roll. The rest finally killed his plaguecaster and gain prey appending.
My turn 3.
I pop up Ripper Swarm at {B} and {C}
I move Genestealer to {A} and camping there, I spilt up Carnifex to closer enemy- Old One Eye and one Carnifex toward to ten men plague marine at {1} and other Carnifex toward {D}
Broodlord fail casting the psyker and Trygon fail to hit with bio-pulse.
All Fexs charged and pass living ramming roll then beating up plague marines while his warlord finally overkilled by Trygon total wound is 14! (6,6&2)
I table him and gain another maximum point- line breaker, Stain the Warlord and First Blood plus capture all ABC&D objective.
Match 3 vs Admech.
My opposition won roll off and pick {C} side / deployment first. ( sigh not again )
He deployment his Skitarii Rangers, Skitarii Vanguard and Tech-Priest Dominus at {1} hidden inside the building and a Onager Dunecrawler standing next to the building.
Another Skitarii Rangers, Skitarii Vanguard and Tech-Priest Dominus at {C} hidden inside other building and a Onager Dunecrawler standing on {3}
His Sicarian Infiltrators was in reserve.
I place Broodlord,Old One Eye, two Carnifex under Malanthrope’s shrouding cloud on {2} I finish deployed before him so I go first instead. Just my luck that he fail to seize me too!
My turn 1
For very first time that all of my unit got perfect advance roll! I dash all of unit toward building int he middle between {1,2&3} for cover bonus while still under Malanthrope’s shrouding cloud. And my broodlord successful casting ‘the horror’ on rangers on top of building at {1}
I pop up my Trygon close to Dunecrawler at {3} and shattering genestealers around trygon and charge at Dunecrawler! Yeah.... Trygon missed all of Bio-pulse in shooting phase!
Trygon and Genestealers stripped out of Dunecrawler down to just 2 wound left with my very poor roll to D3 and
D6...
I can’t risk my broodlord charge at vanguards with 11” require to charge and welcome overwatch...
His turn
His wounded Dunecrawler fall back and climb on top of the building...
His rangers on {1} fire their rifle at my genestealers and snipers at my broodlord.. thank to ‘the horror’ cause all of their hits go worse and his sniper are -2 to hit against shrouding broodlord hehehe
His two Dunecrawler fire all of their weapons at my shrouding Cernifex brood and none of those heavy weapons are hits or either wounded my Cernifex!
His two of vanguards fire at my genestealers and I only lose 4 of my genestealers..
My turn 2
I move all unit closer to their prey and I successfully casting ‘the horrors on same rangers ( because they have a eye on my broodlord!)
Trygon fail to hit with bio-pulse, this getting old on me...
I charged my genestealers on his
HQ and Trygon charged on Dunecrawler, Broodlord charged at vanguards and the Old One Eye and one of Cernifex ramming another Dunecrawler and successful 2 wound on it. Malanthrope floating beside broodlord. One of my Cernifex fail their charged.
My broodlord slashed vanguard in half and Genestealers slashing
hq down to 4 wound left and Trygon crushed Dunecrawler into the blub, Cernifex brood ripped another Dunecrawler apart, down but not out.
His vanguards fail a morale test and wipe out, at that point where my team captain took a photo
His turn
He fall back his last Dunecrawler and a
HQ.
And deep strike his Sicarian Infiltrators target at my Broodlord.
His armies try to fire toward to my broodlord but too bad he is character and re-direct to Cernifex hehe.
But!!!! He change his mind and put everything aim and fire at my genestealers brood instead!
Gore and bloodiest spattered everywhere in that building when my genestealers drop down to just 4 model left...
He successfully charged his Sicarian Infiltrators at my broodlord but thank to his misplace his unit and my malanthrope pile in!
His Sicarian Infiltrators hurt my broodlord down to 2 left and I slash one of his Sicarian Infiltrators and Malanthrope active the prey adaption!
My genestealers pass the morale test. And my opponent started biting his fingers..
My turn 3!
I popped my ripper swarm on {B} and {D} to claim my objective.
I fall back my Malanthrope because I don’t want risk it... I move my Cernifex brood closer to Dunecrawler and genestealers closer to another vanguards inside same building, I move my Trygon down the building near to his
hq.
I fail casting the horror... and Trygon..... never mind, you know what the results...
Again, I charged my Cernifex broods at Dunecrawler and successful another living ramming and genestealers at vanguards, Trygon at
HQ.....
My broodlord killed all but one of Sicarian Infiltrators, my Cernifex brood beating up the Dunecrawler and.....
The Dunecrawler blew up! Killed my broodlord,wound all of my Cernifex brood and he accidentally wiped out his own Sicarian Infiltrators, vanguards and wound his warlords inside the building!
My genestealers wound his another vanguard inside same building as my genestealers, the Trygon put five massive talons down and got through with 14 wounds on his
hq....
His turn....
he worries...he panicked....and he put everything within the building and stand. ( just kidding about he panicked... he just can’t believe that he was about to wiped out and laugh about it..)
He turn and fire at my Cernifex because it was close enough and done little wound on Cernifex but it was not enough...
My turn 4
I move all cernifex broods and a Trygon closer to building where enemy camping in and I went ask tournament organisers if I can charges through the building? Rat it cannot so it either charged 3 stories high (10” upward) or just go around the building...
Trygon fail to hit with bio-pulse ( oh come on! Duh! )
Every single model fail it charged roll....
Genestealers wipe out the vanguards inside the building and claim the {C} objective.
His turn
He fires at wills at my genestealers brood which camping on objective but fail to wound.
My turn 5
I had to move cernifex around the building but Old One Eye, it advance to base contact with objective {A} and Trygon move around other side of the building...
Malanthrope flying closer to the building.
Malathrope fail their charged,
none of my other units able to see enemy.
His turn....
He just concede because he cannot win or draw at all.
The result
TLDR: I won the tournament! And how I can’t believe that Trygon NEVER hit with the Bio-pulse weapon!!!!
