Sometimes inspiration strikes and you start fiddling around with an idea without really planning it. This is my second ever piece of terrain, and first one in about 20 years (did a paper towel tube bunker in my teens).

Started off with some packaging material, and decided I would make a garage. That then turned into a workshop, and then kept growing.Added a liquids tank by playing with some scraps in m work bin, as well as an old film canister that I'd used to mix inks in. Straws for pipes, bristol paper scraps for detailing, foamcore for building things out, and even wire mesh from a mask project I'd worked on. Lots of otherwise garbage scraps started finding a home on this. I feel like it works as I started imagining some weird, tech-savy hermit who built most of this him/herself. That led me to intentionally letting myself have more fun with less measurements, so I could get that slightly wonky look. Somewhere I decided that this would be the cyberpunk equivalent to a wizard's tower, by being the home of some sort of technomagus. When I paint it (mid Dec), will make more sense with the wizard reference (hint: yellow bricks at the garage entrance and an Oz themed mural on garage door.)

Enjoy

Get it painted up though. It's a scientific fact that unpainted models die quicker than painted one's.
