Rotting Sorcerer of Nurgle

Hello all,
Converting a Lord of Corruption into a Nurgle Terminator Sorcerer.
My question is, what are the rules for basing a model? Why I ask is a terminator sorc is generally on a 42mm, but my LoC came with a 50mm. Not sure if I need to buy a new base or if its generally OK to use a larger base

Generally speaking you should base the model on the base size it normally comes with. (if you converted something that goes on a 40 then put it on a 40)
Though the only universal law states that you should ask your own group/TO
personally i say put it on whatever looks better.

Thanks, my gaming group didn't quite respond to my inquiries so I figured I'd ask here... bought 5 resin 40mm nurgly bases on eBay for $7 just now, cheaper than 5 basic black ones from GW!

Lol please read the thread.  The original comparison is talking about GW's basic bases, saying they're more expensive than the nurgle resin ones. Dude.
I just corrected the 4.50 amount to 5 because the bases GW has are actually 4.95, not 4.50.
