I am currently sitting on 233 points left to play with. I'm looking at a nerothrope or broodlord. Then using the remaining points on spore mines.

Thoughts.

Use Leviathan as it will benefit your entire army... and I'd take a Broodlord for the last HQ. He'll run up the board with your genestealers and hormagaunts and give them synapse and the Leviathan bonus.

I was looking at the broodlord as well for forward synapse support. The only reason I wanted to Kronos was to support the shooting elements of the army. Have the ability to re roll ones would greatly improve damage. Normally when I don't get that many comments, it's because the list seems solid.

Mucolids or spore mines for the few points

The re-roll 1's is nice, but the only units that will be using that really are the Hive Guard and the Biovores. The other shooty units should be advancing up the board so they won't get the re-roll. With Leviathan all your gribblies get that juicy 6+++ since you have plenty of synapse. But try them both out and see which one you like better.

I'd go one Mucolid and 5 spore mines. The spore mines can be a deep-striker roadblock while the Mucolid is a distraction... albeit a squishy one.
