I mean, "redacted by the Inquisition" is a bad term for something set in the Heresy...

I wonder if it's the ability to order stuff via in-store order points.

The redacted item is one of two books most likely. Either fires or the next HH book.

The models look neat though, the praetors in particular are awesome.

Why on earth do you think that they'd be announcing Fires of Cyraxus, a 40k book, at a Horus Heresy event? In any case, that book's dead. They're not going to release it until it's revised to the post-Cicatrix maledictus period, and the author is now running Specialist Games.

The surprise is most likely Malevolence.

The new models are all actually pretty sweet. They’ve been a bit hit or miss lately but I’m happy with all of these.

Agreed...the surprise isn't going to be a 40K book at a 30K event. It's probably Malevolence, since they've been awfully quiet about it in recent months. Well, that or some oversized centerpiece model that works in either era, since they said "Forge World fans". Seems like their focus for 30K has shifted to selling larger kits and characters to existing customers rather than basic support for new 30K players (which are a relatively rare thing now).

Now, hopefully they release that Talons book after they get through Malevolence and its accompanying releases. But I'm starting to think that it's stuck in the same development hell as Fires. Months behind schedule, selected units released as experimental rules, etc...I'm afraid it looks pretty familiar.

There's another possibility...

Fires is ditched as a story item, but instead it's a sourcebook with AdMech/Mechanicum rules for 30k+40k.

It’s release date hasn’t been though. It could be a new Primarch model, but I’m hoping it’s Malevolence.

I have a feeling that it'll be available at the weekender. It was rumoured to have been up for proof reading prior to getting sent to the printers last August.

Right, which means its availability could fit the bill as a surprise and something we've been waiting for. *shrug*

Wow, I just noticed the NL dread's decals. That's pretty embarrassing- did they even bother to varnish the model?

After Inferno, they have to know that a better effort is needed there. Inferno was bad even by FW proofing standards.

Of late there's been a definite decrease in the quality of whoever's painting the FW minis work.

I’ll take “AT scale resin Imperator” for ten.
What? It’s just not proper speculation if it’s not at least half outlandish wishlisting…

I love the Blood Angels but I'll hold on the Night Lords until I see the bare resin.
At first glance it looks like the cheeks on the power armoured praetor are too big, as well as the grenade and skull and the details on the Dreadnought look pretty 'copy and paste' in places.
I just feel some of the proportions and designs of recent Forgeworld minis have been a little off of late

Naah it will come in first at 40k scale ;-) That would be sick sized model. At roughly 4 feet it would literally be size of some humans...

Pfff, you want outlandish wishlisting? I'll give you outlandish wishlisting - Battlefleet: Heresy. Written by a returned Andy Chambers. With plastic models all in the same scale as the originals.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

Those BA terminators are utterly terrible. Their anatomy is super fethed up, even for Terminators. Look at those scrawny legs! Also the cloth looks really crappy, like an amateur's GS conversion work.

I really like the NL leviathan, the corpse mounted on it tho looks a little weird. That actually makes me think of something FW should make, casualties! I think it would be badass if they made them for marines(both flavours). I know you can make your own but sometimes having something readily available would be an easy and "cheap" thing they could sell. While not discounting the ones GW used to sell, if they updated them and relaunched along with craters etc..I think they'd be a hit.

Honestly at this point they should just release a relics of the Imperium book with Custodes, Sisters of Silence, and AdMech stuff. Make a HQ for Sisters to use for the Krole model.

Inferno was the only book I know where even the pictures needed a good proof read beforehand

These minis are pretty terrible. The body proportions and anatomy are way off. The thighs on BA are way too thin and the shoulders are positioned
too high, above the neck level.

The paint job is really bad as well. All in all these feel very amateurish. They look like minis from the 90s.

Some time ago I heard someone saying that if you glue Cataphractii pads too close (or whatever), they will become way too top heavy looking.

I kinda also think their legs are a bit too scrawny.

They could’ve also had better paint job. Especially Leviathan.

Even in Epic, the Termites, Mole and Hellbore transports were deployed right at the back with the tunnelers already burrowing at the start of the game. In Epic it made sense as they'd do the range finding and serve LOS purposes (particularly nasty during Assault! missions).

I wouldn't be surprised if the Mole is "deployed" already underground without transport (like the Termite) and the transport is to allow it a comfortable seat on the shelf or to serve the odd scenario mission.
