Perhaps! That or just lucky
Spoiler:
Esp since at the end of the last book she was in it's only implied that she dies. We never actually see the battle or her getting killed. Plus Gotrek is really morose in the AoS setting; didn't have any allies to get back down under the water and she DID keep trying to kill him

I enjoyed Bone Desert the most tbh but I don't think the author did any more Gotrek and Maleneth

The Interceptor City special limited edition still hasn't sold out yet. Is this an indicator that the scalper-rush is over?

Certainly that they've figured out there's not that much demand for anything that isn't Primarch/HH related. We still might see it there.

As there been any indication of when the 'regular' edition for Interceptor will be out?

Amazon description of Dark Coil wrote:Peter Feheravi’s Dark Coil tales spin an intricate web across the grim darkness of the far future. From the fecund jungles of the Dolorosa Coil, to a shrine world ruled by a mysterious cult with a world-ending secret, this anthology includes the novels Fire Caste, Cult of the Spiral Dawn, and a selection of short stories, all exploring the strange and acclaimed worlds of the Dark Coil.

So, looks like the upcoming Fehevari anthology contains only the books that I don't already have, just what I needed! I made the right decision not to splurge on the repetition included in that Special Edition hardback set!

There’s a second anthology coming later with the rest too.

New paperback Ravenor omnibus including the short stories in July. Also Grey Knights and Space Wolves ones (spotted on Amazon)

New omnibus, or yet another reprint? It's been reprinted three or so times already now? Now if they did illustrated and annotated versions like with the Eisenhorn trilogy.. 🥺

It's a new version presumably with a different slate of short stories (the most recent Eisenhorn omnibus included The Magos but omitted other short stories from the previous version, I'd assume this will have the rest and anything else missing).

I wonder what short stories there might still be then? Because the first(?) omnibus already featured the prequel stories about Patience KYS and Thorn Wishes Talon.

I wish Pandaemonium would be announced already.

Most recent Eisenhorn omnibus has:

Reggia Occulta
Missing in Action
Backcloth for a Crown Additional
The Keeler Image

Which leaves:
Pestilence
Master Imus's Transgression
The Strange Demise of Titus Endor
The Curiosity
Playing Patience
Thorne Wishes Talon
Gardens of Tycho
Perihelion

Of those, Thorn Wishes Talon and Playing Patience were in the original Ravenor omnibus, so I'd expect those.
Perihelion I'd expect in a theoretical future Bequin omnibus. Would be nice if the others found their way in somewhere.

Indeed, that one can not come soon enough yet has been delayed by things out of his control, according to Dan himself. Would not surprise me if that is being delayed to coincide with some later 40k related release, especially if what it reveals has as large an impact on the setting as has been potentially hinted at.

Columbus, Oh

simple question for the team..

Is there any way to periodically check what books are coming out that are in "real book" format?

I keep checking the Black Library website and only see e-books and audio.. all the icons for printed material are always grey-ed out for me

My local Warhammer store has no clue.. manager says he knows when a new title comes out when he gets it in the weekly restock delivery.

I want to preorder stuff, to make sure I get authors I enjoy, but cannot figure out how to do so

2+2=5 for sufficiently large values of 2.

Order of St Ursula (Sisters of Battle): W-2, L-1, T-1
Get of Freki (Space Wolves): W-3, L-1, T-1
Hive Fleet Portentosa (Nids/Stealers): W-6, L-4, T-0
Omega Marines (vanilla Space Marine): W-1, L-6, T-2
Waagh Magshak (Orks): W-4, L-0, T-1
A.V.P.D.W.: W-0, L-2, T-0

They used to have a preview page showing in advance what would be coming throughout the year, but they stopped doing that.

Whilst BL are honestly pretty good at keeping things in print/ebook format (at least for novels) they are shockingly bad at conveying information on what they've got.

Eg if you want Old World stuff you have to go hunting and good luck working out which short and long stories are in which compiled publications - Old World isn't too bad but 40K and AoS are a mess of the same short stories getting rebundled over and over here and there.

Amazon's usually pretty reliable, although they aren't always correct on the release dates.

combining an amazon search either for black library https://www.amazon.com/s?k=black+library or a specific book with their coming soon filter is not bad

the dates may not be totally accurate but give a good indication that the book is showing up in the near future

I'm just hoping for a Dan Abnett book that has "The End."

Can't wait for the post-post-post sequel where learn what happened to Sigismund's serf's spare broom, and how the lack of proper sweeping up impacted the 41st millennium.

Hopefully, Black Library will put out a limited edition model to accompany its release.

Well, wasn't there also Lepidopterophobia (Medea Unbound) and Born to Us?

This might also come in handy: https://www.trackofwords.com/2021/02/14/a-guide-to-dan-abnetts-inquisition-series/

If they're all new that still leaves a bunch of HH short stories that haven't been collected yet that came out after the last anthology.
