There is only one place I know where you could have got those. Off eBay, from a guy in Japan called Hiro.

Yep, Hiro is my pusher. Rarely has one man been so responsible for keeping Japan in the black regarding foreign balance of trade numbers.

I'm currently working on an EFSF army of 12 RMG-79's, 20 RB-79 Balls, three Guncannons and Gundam Units 4 and 5. All courtesy of Hiroaki-san.

Help...

hi
Very interested in this game.
How vast and varied are the range of the 1/300 and 1/400 gunpla series?
I find the 1/144 models very big for a 6x4 table.

1/144 Gundam are only about 5" tall, so they're much smaller than an Imperial Knight Titan!

Even smaller than a Land Raider, too. Roughly comparable to a Rhino in size.

Right!

On a 6' x 4' table with a good amount of terrain, it will look great and play great too!

A 3v3 MS battle using 1/144 gunplas should look and play good enough on a 4x4 table, and even better on a 6x4. a 6x4 battle will look even better with 1/144 armor and infantry, of course.

Any robot battle looks better with infantry for scale!

In 1/144, there are RL armor / aircraft / helos one can also leverage for scale.

Bought a ton of 1/400 scale from a wide range of gundam shows. Just looking for the machine gun armed leo and sandrock with two blades yet. I have found the rules under the gundam tactics game (for neo, vol, and dx minis), but quite a few are still missing from this game yet. Does anyone know when the faction books/pdfs will be finished? Gundam wing looks like it's been completed for the most part (just missing ares iirc).

Would be great to make an 08th ms team too, or replay the war in the pocket.

Looking for rules for my unicorn, psycho gundam, etc. To be honest I have no idea what show they are from either lol.

Well, the Unicorn is from Gundam Unicorn :p. The Psycho was from Gundam Z IIRC.

Jus a passing familiarity. You should see some guys I know, those are usually able to differentiate between variants of Zaku IIs on sight.

I've been following Gundam for almost 30 years... I pretty much know them all too. I wish I could remember details about other things in life like I do with the technical details on mobile suits.

To be fair, a lot of Z2 variants are just repaints. The red one? That's Char's! And the black ones? Trinary!

To be perfectly fair to the BTS, their Zaku IIs are technically a different version its the R-1A Variant

We're a bit further behind the proverbial eight-ball than we'd anticipated here at MSSk HQ. I'd hoped to have the Federation and Zeon Faction books for OYW out by now, but 'real life' has been a demanding so-and-so of late.

At the moment, I'm estimating mid to late March for both books.

Surely you mean the proverbial RB-79 Ball, there

That doesn't sound so bad - March is just around the corner!

As always though, your efforts (and the entire MSSk team) are appreciated!

Macrossmartin, no problem at all! As alpharius said, we are thankful for all the work you have put into this game (I saw you are on the mobile suit skirmish forums too alph!).

I found practically every unit under version 1.3, so I can always use that rule set if using suits from other eras like 00 for the time being. Version 2.0 plays very smooth though, haven't played 1.3 yet.

The game is a blast! So glad I bought into the 1/400 scale line to use with this game (although the ptolemaios was ridiculously expensive).

I think the Ptolemaios kit has been discontinued for a long while now, so I'm not surprised it costed you a pretty penny.

...plus, you know, BIG.

The 1.3 Stats are, essentially, identical to those used in 2.0, except that the listed Points Costs do not include Weapons, Abilities, nor Character Pilot costs. So you can use them as a starting point, adding the missing costs from the 2.0 rulebook. (See Weapons tables and the Section on Character Pilots for point costs.)

Be mindful, though - not all the Abilities listed in the 1.3 guides are costed in the 2.0 rulebook - this is because the emphasis with 2.0 is just on the OYW, to help keep things relatively simple.

Anyone written anything on how this compares to Heavy Gear Blitz?

Could you use those models for this also?

Weeeeeee my bases and templates arrived!

So I just did a fast proof of concept:

Just a bit of basing material and a black gloss wash to start it off.

Awesome!

I've gone in for the 1/144 versions, but you maybe be able to eventually tempt me into 1/400 too!

1/144 has the widest selection of models and terrain / scenery, so that's really a good choice. You can leverage both HO and N-scale scenery (HO will look very good with the 1/144 Gundam).

1/400 is much narrower in selection, but the models tend to be toylike, so they are better gaming pieces.

...in all honesty, after taking a quick look at some 1/400 stuff, I think I'll be sticking with the 1/144 scale.

I'm actually buying stuff of both ^^

That said, I am this close of deciding to buy a DLP 3d printer, and if I do, all bets are off.
