7x Imperial Knights, most of which are magnetised to be hot swapped for weapons.

One Shadowsword that's magnetized for all the non-turret Baneblade variants (although I still haven't converted the Titan Plasma Blastgun to fit it, so no Stormblade right now)

I have 1 stompa and 2 silver towers of Tzeentch, all home-made before there were official models for them (in fact I am not sure there even ARE any silver tower rules now, as they were only on an obscure part of the website)

I plan on converting a baneblade in the summer though, so I'm not averse to superheavies.

1 Knight, 5 Baneblade variants, 1 Wraithknight. That is just so far.

I've currently got ... four Knights, three super-heavy tanks (although only one is built), a Warhound titan, a (metal) Thunderhawk Gunship still unbuilt and four Primarchs, although three of those are display pieces.

(although if you count Epic, I've got an Imperator, two dozen Warlords, four Reavers, four Warhounds, five Phantoms, two Revenants, a Great Gargant, two Mega-Gargants, a Banelord, a Lord of Battles, a Cyclops, a Hellbore heavy tunneler, four Thunderhawks, a Landing Craft, a Marauder bomber, three Baneblades, three Stormblades, two Heirophants, two Heirodules, a couple of Trygons, three greater daemons and four daemon Primarchs.)

It's a nice centerpiece model, and performs adequately. A full Knight army would be really cool, but I doubt it would be particularly fun to play or play against.

I forgot that technically I have a Wraithknight too, but it has been sitting unbuilt in a box for years, so it really doesn't count.

One Stompa and four Imperial Knights. Up to now only the Stompa and one Knight are painted. They are great models and their sight fills me with pride and joy. But I don´t want to build another Stompa. It was just a hassle to assemble. Both Walkers spend their time in my cabinet because I am afraid to transport any of them. In particular the Grots can easily come off.

The Stompa is painted in a Bad Moonz paint scheme and the Knight has a jungle camo pattern. The latter fits in well with my Catachans.

Not to put you off or anything but I did have a friend who brought a Stompa to one of our apocalypse games only to find that it had caved in on itself in transit (he must have not believed hard enough). However, during the game it did mean his 20 boyz that were inside the Stompa could ride on the base which was fun to watch.

Too many super heavies? That's like having too much Dakka... so... not a thing really.

I am actually kind of amazed by just how many people have! i think i've seen... one or two at once in the same place. I think two ork stompas and an imperial knight. Impressive, but again, to big for my own tastes.

And also too big for my hobby space. Honestly that's the real problem i have.

Yeah, the Stompa is a very fragile model and I intend to only use it in games at my home. He participated in only one battle and in true orky fashion ran out of ammo with his main gun on turn 1...
But that´s not too bad because I spend more time painting & assembling than playing the game.

I forgot to answer your question. As long as it is no chore for you to build the actual model there is no limit for your collection. Though your cabinet might run out of space.
I will finish first my remaining three Knights before there are any new additions to my collection. Perhaps the new Pacific Rim movie will spark my interest to paint an Imperial Knight again. The last one took me two weeks to complete and the Stompa seven years...
I would like to purchase a Gorkanaut/Morkanaut in the future to help my Stompa out in an Imperial Knight Renegades game. Is the Gorkanaut/Morkanaut kit easier to assemble than the Stompa?

That rule always did make me feel a bit better about Chaos' random rules that could turn out great or kick you in the nuts.

From what I saw of my friends slow migration from a base, to a headless/armless body, to an unpainted and then fully painted Morkanaut over the cause of several games, they aren't that hard to build and much sturdier than a Stompa.
