Hi,

I have a question regarding to beta rules, e.g. Tactical Reserves. Should I start playing these rules now or should wait until they become "mandatory"?

It’s literally up to you. And the rules will only ever be mandatory for Matched Play. So do whatever you like!

For me, the joy is in putting some good-looking models on the board and playing out a fantasy battle - not arguing over the poorly-made rules of some 3rd party who neither has any power over my play nor will be visiting me (and my opponent) to ensure we are "playing by the rules"

Yeah you should just to be prepared for if they (Probably will) become full rules. If tournaments consistently use them, 99% chance they are gonna be come full rules.

Chances are pretty good that they'll become mandatory for Matched Play. My group has already agreed to use these and all future beta rules. The chances of these rules just going away is pretty low.
