100%. The paper dashboards and locations are a little precarious to store properly without some damage if you play the game a lot. Cardboard locations and dashboards really give a nice feel to set-up and takedown of the game and are easier to take care of.

Plastic Tokens are also great. Are any of the accessory add-ons necessary? Nope. Are they fun? Yup!

None of the gameplay accessories are required, but they add so much to the game.

Game Mat: I prefer the one with the card slots, but it is good that they have made one for people with smaller gaming surfaces. The mat changes the game from a "miniature game" to a boardgame.

Acrylic tokens: Just plain nice to have. The quality and vividness of the colors is great, and unlike some of the tokens with will not wear with repeated plays.

Carboard Dashboards: Another great cosmetic upgrade. These are nice to have and only add to the game's apearence but have no bearing on the gameplay.

Carboard Locations: Same as the dashboards. Not needed, but they sure add to the feel of the game.

I could only hope so. since CMON also put out ASOIAF, it would make me both happy and sad at the same time if we get access to the Mother of Dragons sooner this way than a reprint for ASOIAF.

I've very intrigued. Haven't backed a CMoN project in quite some time. Hopefully we'll see more soon as I'd like to decide on this vs D&L 5 based off of what's in each.

Nah - I have Targaryian army based around Dany but never played the game

I found Jon dull in the show and deeply disliked Sam - hence the potential joy in seeing their cold dead animated corpses

Don't know why it just dawned on me, but this could be a great source of Frostgrave models appropriately dressed for the weather!

Then again the sorceress model there looks like her figure is going sleeveless while the artwork says otherwise. Guess you could paint her arms like a shirt.

Is that billowing cloth style the norm for the line? It reminds me more of what I'd expect from the new Corvus Belli fantasy game than what I'd expect from CMON.

It's got more billowy as their style has evolved, Massive Darkness 2 seemed to really push the bounds on big fabric looks.

Is Sarana meant to resemble anyone?

She looks quite good as do the Rio models - I wonder if there is a undead parrot or two
